but the white ps3 is region locked for dvds and stuff right? (games are region free on ps3 though right?)

so basically you can use it in the US for anything bought in the us besides dvds and blu ray?

Blu-Ray and PS3 games for Japan/US are the same region so they both work... Japanese PS1 games work on it as well...

DVDs however are restricted to region 2 (Japan)...

I ordered the $20 Castlevania PSP game from Amazon.com, and I don't have a PSP, and every time I think to use my nephew's PSP I remember that he licks the screen to clean it.

Finding a used PSP Fat should be easy, though.

Just like finding a Wii. Man I screw myself constantly.

old monitor vs new monitor. I guess my new monitor would count as a pickup since it allows for HD resolutions. After some time I wish I'd gotten something that doesn't cut off the sides of the picture.

Dear god some of you gaffers are really well off. I've recently bought mario galaxy and COD4 within a week and I felt guilty about my 'shopping splurge'. And no I am not poor.

I don't understand buying AC on both consoles, neither were the CE to boot.

The first one is the best one (although that's not saying much). I remember them filming the third one in my town. Needless to say it wasn't quite up to snuff. :lol
