Amazon PS4 bundles in stock (Knack or DS4)

I don't know why GAF is so determined for me to buy one. I'm not going to impulse buy a PS4!

It's so tempting every time it pops up on sale.....
 
Man all those 1 star reviews. A few sound legit but so many of them just sound fake. I really wonder how many of them actually got faulty consoles.

a lot of them says verified purchases. Sony did everything right, then fucked up the product.

Yea, been looking through them, I've commented on some and linked them to possible solutions. Hopefully it helps some of them. Console failure is one of my biggest fears so I'm pretty happy my PS4 has been doing great so far. Still, fingers crossed nothing happens to it.

The problem is not the scalpers but the people that buys from them for absurd prices. These are the real idiots. If a scalper buys 10 consoles and can't manage to sell them with a profit next time he will not buy 10 consoles. Problem solved.

Paying double for something that you can have for normal price if you just wait a little (with the PS4 waiting is not even necessary) is something I can't really understand. When it's something that is out of print I can understand paying a higher price but in this case, I'm sorry, these guys are complete idiots.
 
Ordered a DS4 bundle to replace the defective unit I got today. Anyone know if amazon checks the codes inside of a defective item return? Say, if I already used them should I put the code sheet from my replacement unit inside the old box so I don't get dinged?
 
You know, I actually considered picking one up after they went back in stock last night. And then I thought long and hard about it. And really, I don't see anything that notable to play, certainly not long term. A bunch of the big titles are Q1 and Q2 2014, and if stock is this good now, it'll certainly be fine in half a year.

I decided to share my opinion. I don't know why.
 
They're probably back in stock because of all the people cancelling their pre-order, because of the PS4 hardware problems going around the internet. But damn all those 1 star reviews, if most of them are fake, damn xbox fanboys will do just about anything.

I doubt they care, but you could always call them and ask. They're usually pretty customer friendly, I wouldn't be surprised if they said don't worry about it.

A lot of them are verified purchasers. Unless you think there are a bunch of Xbox fanboys who are so dedicated to the cause that they'll buy PS4's to add weight to their fake complaints.
 
Sucks to see all the reports of defective consoles :/ Making me kinda nervous about ordering one, I'm only home for a month this winter, then out of the country until May 2014 so I'd be beyond pissed if I order it and end up getting a defective unit...

Not necessarily fanboys... Amazon shipped a LOT of PS4s. It's not surprising that the people with defective consoles would be more likely to post a review than those without issues.

Same, which is why I'm going to wait and buy locally (probably at Costco). If there's a problem I'll just swap it out for a new one, no waiting. Hopefully.
 
GAAAWD this is tempting. A PS4 costs $550 in Australia, and right now I can get one from Amazon with Killzone and a year of PS+ for $573. I told myself I was going to wait for Infamous, but I'm pretty sure this is happening right now.

EDIT - Phew, OK, the moment has passed.

People are probably just salty they can't play their consoles right away. The good thing is it came out right away so there's time to address quickly. The Rrod on the other turned its ugly head a year in after there were too many on the market.

Did Sony rush to beat MS? This could bite them in the ass if it continues. Someone is getting fired, that's for sure.
 
30 out of 47 of the 1-star reviews are from verified purchasers

Picked up the Knack bundle.

The only game I really want to play on it is Killzone tbh, but I'm sure Knack will be alright. I wanted to get Killzone digitally and I already have PS+ so I'll just buy it on PSN.

Should be here Monday!
