I haven't used any since then since my bank screwed up the replacement and I don't even have a new card yet!

Since I don't know who it was I'll just continue to use them normally. Play-Asia and VGP are too useful to me and the (attempted) fraud didn't cost me anything. I try to avoid GAME anyway and only used them for the exclusive Steins;Gate edition. I guess I'll try to use my CC through PayPal as much as possible in the future instead of giving my CC details directly.

But now that you said VGP I have heavy suspicions that it was them. It happened there before a few years ago and recently they removed the "preorder now pay later" option for a while, which was weird. Unless we have some evidence I'm not going to blame or avoid anyone though.
I wouldn't necessarily count out PayPal, or at least I wouldn't say they're always trustworthy. A while back I had a transaction with Play-Asia made through PayPal on which a charge back was initiated. Sure as hell wasn't me, and I went to my bank about fraud which they cleared my account from, yet no money ever appeared back on my card, in my PP account or back to PA. They've been asking me ever since for that money so I'm basically banned from the site, and PayPal the whole time deflected my questions elsewhere every single time (first it was the bank's fault, then PA, then me, then the bank again). Just saying don't put all your trust in them, heard plenty of horror stories about them.

Bespoke have given me the following prices:

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) - £22.85 fufilled by videogamebox

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - £31.88 fufilled by Gameseek

Too bad my Animal Crossing order has just been dispatched by TGC but will definately order Uncharted at that price.

Sorry you got hit as well. :( I forgot I'd used VG+, so that's another one we have in common. I'm sure one of the sites upon checkout actually shows the three digit number from the signature strip which doesn't seem right.

What I've decided to do now is just use PayPal & see if anything happens. Have you carried on using the same sites as normal?

Yikes. Thanks for letting us know. :)

Did the Transaction had anything in common? Because last year I was hit and got Transactions from the UK.

Did you bought with your other Credit Card also at VG+? Besides Paypal and Kickstarter thats the only one that we have in common.

Didn't bought there since my Credit Card data was stolen.I use my new card very carefully now and use the most of the time PayPal

What is the usual ETA on something being dispatched by GameSeek through Bespoke Offers? Ordered on Sunday and still not dispatched, seems kinda strange.

Find the cheapest price you can online, go to Bespoke Offers (via quidco) and click on "beat my price" at the top. Then put the URL in the box. That's pretty much it. If it doesn't accept the store, find another store with a good price instead.

I got offered Tales of Zestiria on PS4 for £32 but backed out because I decided it'd probably be shit. I might try Disgaea though... or not.

I assumed PayPal was pretty much perfect/ideal. :(

Do you mean if we ordered the same games? I preordered 2 Vita games about 2 months ago, but it's impossible to say what company is to blame. I guess you just have to trust some companies else the alternative is hiding the money under your mattress & never buying online ever again.

ideal, are they reliable? I found flubit to be quite shit

slow deliveries, wouldn't send out etc etc

They literally are Flubit so every bit as reliable. I imagine being backed by Barclays means if something does go wrong you'll have more success with resolution at least.

Ah

Have a bank and credit card with Barclays, so I'll stay loyal. Time to see if I can get witcher 3 for cheapish.

Anyone know where I can get
Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden for 3DS retail but comes with the free Super Butoden 2 game?

Digital EU eShop ver. offers it as a pre-order and GAME spain is apparently offering the free game as well.

I have a UK 3DS XL.

curious, too. Still, just pre-ordered from GAME UK since I had spare points, plus Quidco. £18, why not.

My despatch email for an order from friday evening was only received today. give them roughly 24-48 hours excluding weekends. they aren't as fast as TGC or Shopto but they get the job done.

Also for anyone wondering with Bespoke they tell you who the offer is from so you can decided for yourself if you want to go ahead with it (if you trust the retailer or not) for instance my uncharted collection was being fulfilled by Gameseek so I am happy enough with that,,,,

Cancelled my Fallout order at SimplyGames, but the money I had in PayPal seems to have gone to them already, and not been returned. How long is it supposed to take?

I made an account to try them out when getting one of the grey anniversary PS4 controllers. Flubit's deal came back quicker and cheaper but Bespoke Offers seems to accept a wider variety of URLs (like Flubit used to, so not just Amazon) so your mileage may vary.
I believe Flubit is accepting a wider variety of URLs but in my first test Amazon was cheapest anyway. To me a wider range of URLs defeats the point of the service. I trust Bespoke will come out top long term. Barclays probably does banking for loads of retailers and can use that to their advantage.

Flubit's published list of accepted domains (in addition to Amazon UK) is:

rakuten.co.uk
play.com
argos.co.uk
ebuyer.com
johnlewis.com
tesco.com/direct

That's supposedly until October 2015, but they've been extending that date out monthly for many months now.

£29 from bespoke for witcher 3 on xb1

not too shabby

do i need to go back through quidco before i purchase? guessing so

Well worth it for that price! I'm fairly early on in my playthrough on PS4 and loving the game so far.

Yeah, go back through Quidco before purchasing to make sure that it tracks properly.

When I went to my local Media Markt (Germany) yesterday, I noticed Lightning Returns (PS3) was 9,99€, and Revengeance (PS3) was 2€.

Revengeance has to be one of the most overshipped games of last gen. You can find it in practically every bargain bin and it was on sale online at 2-5€ multiple times as well.

Oh, I see. And I still don't own it. Well, I might own it if we got it for free on PS+.

I don't know, Square Enix games seems to be similarly overshipped.

Revengeance for 2€ is a no-brainer though. One of the best action games ever.

Has anyone got a cracking deal on a PS4 here in the UK?

If by cracking you're willing to then order some more stuff with Rakuten, then go grab this C Chassis http://www.rakuten.co.uk/shop/shopto/product/PS4HW00/

Once delivered you will get £72 back in Rakuten credit to spend on PS+/PSN/Games or anything else that takes your fancy. Plus also 6% cashback via TopCashback.

So £289 - £72 (Super Points) - £17 (Cashback) = 500GB PS4 for £200

Where did you match to get uncharted at that price? I've just been looking for a decent price on it

OOooooOo. I have a £40 Amazon Gift Card, might need to bite. How is that Pokemon game? Better than X/Y? (haven't played Pokemon in years).

Too good a deal to pass up! :D

New 3DS is such an improved experience over the originals, better 3D, snappier OS, faster downloads, built in CPP, slightly larger screen, makes the system much more appealing.

YOU ARE NOT HELPING.

EDIT: Only small caveat is that I don't think the screen protector fits on the New 3DS? That is stupid.

Thought I'd join in on this, I also went through a period of regular fraud and had been using VGP around that time as well (last year / early this year). I've used VGP to pre-order the new Sen No Kiseki so I guess I'll see if I end up with any fraud again :/ Shame because they're a pretty good store otherwise. If they added a paypal option I wouldn't mind.

Just had some luck (hopefully) with Bespoke. £35 PSN card for £28. If the cashback clears that brings it down to £23-24. The item just shipped now. Worth a punt if anyone's after cheap credit!

Rakuten (includng TGC) have 10% off with code bday10. Time for some steals.

Just ordered a friend in work a PS4, for £260, mentioned about the Super Points and she wasn't interested, so that's £72 for me thank you very much!

I've just had Bespoke confirm cashback on a failed (lost in transit delivery) and refunded purchase. £23 cashback for nothing! I've actually reordered through them again for another £27. If they both pay out it makes my Fitbit Surge £100

Sucks that that happened to you, but I still don't want to make VGP responsible for it since that is a pretty damaging accusation.

VGP does take PayPal and I'll probably use it to buy Cold Steel there as well!
