wtf
I'm not seeing a problem.

We don't need to be prudes.

That's the lead designer of Dragon Age and I don't think he's trolling.

That explains so much.

Also someone pointing out that the name Morrigan refers to the Irish shapeshifting goddess of war and is thus fitting for the DA Morrigan, Gaider's response was "oh i just named her after a friend's d&d char i didn't know she was a goddess lol"

You don't see a problem with the lead designer of Dragon Age saying "Mmmmmrrrooowwl" about how a video game female walks? Tacky, juvenile and explains why the series is already in the toilet after only two games.

Dude says Mrrrrowwwwl in a game form while describing maniuplating the camera to stare at a videogame character's ass. And he does so in response to....

This explains why DA1 was so much better than 2. It was an accident

This is why the Dragon Age team will always be second tier and why the Hudson team is truly Bioware.

Still boggling me how the team that made DA1 could end up with 2.

Apparently it went something like this:

1. They all read the Twilight noveles.

2. They create Meryle.

3. Squee! Squee! Squee! Squee! Squee! Squee! for the next two years.

Krogan pic has me wondering as well.

Trust me your quality of life is so much better for having not seen the "picture" in question. I have seen it and I still wake up in the middle of the night with scratches to my eyeballs, quaking and rocking with the sheer horror of the "picture".

As for Bioware Social, yep a cesspit in every way. However there is the odd bit of useful info that comes out of it now and again that warrants visiting it whilst wearing a full Nuclear, Bioloigical and Chemical Warfare suit. It also helps if you keep the phone number to the Samaritans handy for any extended visits to BSN.

To be fair I'm sure he was being facetious. Game writers (even bad ones) love that kind of shit. Character names are rarely random.

Real penises don't work that way. Even animal penises don't work that way.

I think the "true" Bioware has been working on The Old Republic...
If I recall correctly Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 (and 3) have different Lead Writers because of that.

My theory is that maybe the DA1 devs were normal human beings, but after they made the game they started reading the forum and like the One Ring it turned them into alien sex obsessed fury twilight fans.

The real question would be: why is Bioware keeping them employed if quality is the main concern of the company?

The Bioware founders are vastly overrated as well for surrounding themselves with talentless hacks. :)

It seems like it was drawn by someone who has never seen a penis, only heard about them.

Unless the ME games are very explicit about what these species' penises look like?

Great, now I have to do this

.

It's really badly done art, mostly from the anatomy perspective.

I don't know how much you know about Mass Effect porn, but I am an expert...

I can't look at this at work, and i'm not sure i want to once i'm back home. But i bet my curiosity will force me somehow. Ugh.

The Hudson team is the guys who worked on KOTOR. They lost a few writers to TOR though. Also Drew actually did a fair amount of work on ME2 before he headed off to TOR which is because he worked on KOTOR.

I'm more talking the
gaping hole after the penis comes out of the slit
. It's just badly done and badly realized. Otherwise ME creators have created a biology paradox.

:lol Like I said, real penises don't work that way. Otherwise it's very tame compared to some of the furry/Mass Effect porn I've seen.

Did Dragon Age 2 sell well?

If it did then I guess that worked out well for them, in an awkward and perverse way

Do not go to the above link if you are at work, public, or even at home. This shot will scar your eyeballs but due to multiple requests, here's the link. Again click at your own detriment(risk implies something bad will happen but I know this as a fact).

I'm so dead for posting that link.
I don't know if posting that was a mistake, but lol wow.

Right. I agree.

Dragon Age 2 sold well because everyone loved Dragon Age: Origins. The true test will be how well Dragon Age 3 sells.

Everything that comes out of that forum is tolerable as long as the ME2 high quality texture thread exists.

Took me a while to realize that "LI" meant love interest. Makes comprehending these posts a little easier. Well, as much as possible.
Some of these are just... yeah. I mean, they're freaky, but not terribly unexpected at this point.

End of line.

Oh my god.

So this is how it starts.

Pretty soon this thread is going to look exactly like those ones on the Bioware forums.

:lol Brobzoid wins this thread if only because he gets most of GAF broken.

Could get that outside of creepy fan forums.

That doesn't really explain James Vega though.

Bioware: There's this awesome new character in ME3, James Sanders, he's totally cool, not dude-bro at all.
Bioforums: Cool he has the same surname as a major character from the books, I wonder if they are related, maybe he's her son. So cool, relating to the books!
Bioware: (Er... we've already used sanders as a surname in the books.) There's this awesome new character in ME3, James Vega, he's totally cool, not dude-bro at all, named after the first constellation we found on wikipedia. Totally not related to anyone previously mentioned.

Yeah, I don't think they put that much effort in. Firing all of Biowares writers into the sun apart from Drew K and maybe Patrick Weekes is about what is required now.

Well Drew was actually heavily involved with the writing for ME2 so take that as you will.
