Byfuglien is actually a pretty good defenseman. Byfuglien was more useful in the 10-15 games he played at D than he was the rest of the regular season at forward, with the exception of this game of course. ;)

Fantasy question guys
In real life, does Bobby Ryan play left or right wing? Yahoo has him listed as a LW but I always thought he played RW for some reason

Eh whatever, it's easier to pretend he doesn't exist. If he gets healthy one day and manages to be become a decent NHL player, it'll be a nice surprise.

Perry plays RW and Bobby normally plays LW.

As someone who plays mostly OTP but only has a PS3, I'd like to see us put a club together if only to have a pool of players that are interested in playing with fellow Gaffers. I've taken the liberty of creating an NeoGAF Online Team and would be happy to invite anyone that's looking for some casual play.

I thought about creating a separate thread in the GAF online forum but from what I understand the PS3 NHL userbase is pretty small and to be honest I don't have the dedication that the 360 crew seems to have, so this will be just a casual club for those of us that are tired of the players in the public matches. However if the mods feel that this is outside the scope of this particular thread I'll open one in the online forum just to keep the clutter out. With that in mind, find my PSN ID in my profile and shoot me a friend request and I'll get you invited. Let's keep the invite requests to the PS3 only as to not make a mess of this thread.
 
I think Ryan would look nice on the back of a Toronto jersey actually. The blue on the Jersey's will really make the name stand out and say, yes, I am a future superstar.

Or they can put both names on the back and people can try to figure out which is his first and last name. :D

Vancouver Canucks post most expensive 'cheap seats' in NHL

That's pretty frustrating. One, that they raised the prices. Two, that they're so much more expensive than any other team's prices. The rationale given is bullshit, too. Truth is they charge that much because they know there will still be people to buy the tickets and that they can make an even greater profit.

In other news, the non-news debacle of Cody Hodgson continues. Another promising first round pick that the Canucks haven't had good luck with. At least he hasn't died like Luc Bourdon did, though I suppose there's still time.

After reading the article, this. They aren't willing to raise lower bowl tickets to keep upper bowl tickets cheaper? That's a nice fuck you to families and non-rich people.

Pretty much. Unfortunately every game sells out anyways, so there's no incentive for them to keep prices low. It suuuucks.

There was one reason it was good to be a 'Hawks fan a few years ago. I bought lower bowl tickets for a game at the UC on ebay for $5 each. :lol

Now you can't get 'Hawks tickets at all. :(
