The upcoming weeks will be fully focused on our setup and planning for the E3 Expo in Los Angeles and to make sure it’s the historical event we envision. With a significant presence our ambition is to showcase both PAYDAY 2 and OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead.

Can't wait to see what this is. They mentioned coop before but no further details. I hope they don't copy Payday 2 system.

A lot of people give Overkill shit for how much Payday 2 DLC there is, but overall they're a fantastic community-oriented developer. They've released a ton of free content for PD2 in addition to the paid stuff, are always adding new features and are extremely responsive to player feedback. I think their take on TWD could be really great, so I'm looking forward to the reveal.

It's probably going to just be a zombie reskin of Payday 2. While I'll accept that, there better not be tons of DLC like PD2.

Hmm, trying to picture what the mission structure of this would be like. Maybe you create a team of survivors with your friends with progress that carries over and builds. Perhaps you have a home base that functions like a co-op version of your vault/stash in Payday and make supply runs (missions) to gather essentials like food/water, guns, ammo. Throw in a perk and class system to give the survivors roles as well. Character permadeath seems like it would be awesome and really make teamwork important. Could be very cool.

There is going to be if the community continues to buy them

If anything, at least pray there is a bit more variety to the "not heists" heists in the Walking Dead compared to Payday.
