Star Ocean 5 teased for E3?

Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness will be at E3, if tweets from character designer Akira “Akiman” Yasuda are any indication.

“This year is really busy as we’re turning towards the game show,” Yasuda said in a tweet. “It’s busy, but it’s been terribly long [since we were last at a game show].”

In a second tweet, he added, “By the way, we are preparing images for use at E3.”

Square Enix has yet to announce Star Ocean 5 for western markets. The publisher is hosting its own E3 press conference this year, however. If it’s at the expo, we’ll likely hear about the localization there.

YES! This is just what i've been wanting, more Japanese presence at international events! Hopefully Persona 5 is there too <3

Never played Star Ocean, but I saw my brother play Star Ocean 3 when I was younger so I'll be interested if this game gets localized.
 
Oh man, I hope they dont screw it up and bring back everything that made 2 the best JRPG on the PSX. (Private Actions, GOOD item creation)

Time allows people to see things objectively instead of just based on their immediate knee jerk emotion.

Also I have a feeling a lot of the people who hated 3 when it came out probably are not active members anymore.

I hope tri-ace got the negative feedback on the female lead's face. I like everything else from what we got, but that face has gotta go (so creepy).

Since it's basically a port of the PC version, the trophies will likely be similar to the Steam achievements, which are mostly using characters' limits and final limits, and then game completion type things.

On topic, I hope we see a little more of Star Ocean 5 than screens, but any news is good news for a new Star Ocean!
 
That girl's dress is messing with my eyes something fierce. Are the black parts the only thing there is to it? If not then why is the rest of it the same color as her skin?

I don't really mind the character art all that much, just it really seems like some of the characters they've shown just shouldn't be in that world.

The non black parts are skin.
 
Well i hope it comes out at the latest next year along with ff15 and zelda i would be set for gaming anything else would just be the gravy on top.
 
Want so freaking bad... I'd say SO is easily one of my top series in all of gaming. I hope it does really well in the west too.
