Please for the love of god don't change the DLC/Microtransaction model, it was/is so nice in the 1st game.

Never got around to playing the first one, but I'm interested in hearing about what they'll have for the sequel.
In addition to the multiplayer, I'd love a full single player mode like Orcs Must Die!, blending tower defense with realtime action. Especially since the latest Orcs Must Die is apparently more of a MOBA than what the first two games were, I need to get my fix!

Yes, EA conference call a while back confirmed a Garden Warfare sequel for Q1 next year.

Garden Warfare is so good but hard to get people to play because of the plants vs zombies origins. Even when they gave it away had to really push people to download.

Call it Plants vs Zombies: Gardenfront. Have a singleplayer campaign making fun of Battlefield 3/4. Add zombie hoard mode.

If you have an Xbox, get EA Access. Garden Warfare is one of the free games you get, and it's awesome.

PvZ 2 has gotten a lot better than it used to be, and I pretty much despised the game when it first came out.
The levels are still mostly balanced to be harder than PvZ 1 seemingly to make people more likely to spend coins on the special powers you get, but everything is beatable without spending money. (and you earn coins by playing, so it's not required to spend money even if you do hit a hard spot and want to use a powerup).
They've also added a shitload of free content to the game since it launched. It has over twice as many worlds and a ton of new plants were added. There are still a ton of plants and other things to spend money on, but I still get enjoyment out of the new plants they added and I like learning new strategies with them.
I can't say I wouldn't love a $15-20 version without all the IAP shit, but what's there now is totally manageable; there's no "fuel" or "stamina" meter that limits the amount of time you can play for example, that's my least favorite F2P hook.

I played a shit ton of Garden Warefare but I did get bored eventually, love the art style and colours though.
No chance it's happening again.

The first Garden Warfare was such a HUGE surprise for me, it completely stole the light from Titanfall. When all of my friends were drooling over Titanfall, my copy was getting dusty while I was drooling over Garden Warfare. I cannot wait to hear more about this!
Currently on sale at Best Buy for $15.
I can help. It's not that bad if you have 2 peashooters, a cactus, and a sunflower.

garden warfare and titanfall were my main games of 2015, there wasn't too much to get in the way and those games were both top quality fun, I even bought the 360 version of garden warfare for my nephew's birthday and he loved it too.. someone who really dislikes shooters like halo and cod.
