I'm actually happy they're doing it this way. I would've been upset if they wasted their E3 video time on Smash DLC. Giving this its separate presentation insinuates they have some good game announcements for the actual E3 video.

No Zelda info or Smash info on the E3 stream. What could Nintendo have in store?

I agree. The only thing I expect at the Digital Event that's for an already released game is Splatoon. Also hope they don't give any time to Mario Maker. We had seen enough. Already sucks they pushed the release date just to have something for that time of the year.

Either they're not having much, but I'm starting to think with all of this, they're REALLY confident at what they have.

Wow, nice to get this out of the way of the Digital Event, personally it was really silly that the Smash segment took up like 25% of last year's DE if I'm honest. :(

I'm guessing so, yeah. Get all the smash announcements out of the way so they're not putting an 'old game' in the e3 lineup. Doesn't mean they won't show off DLC fighters during the treehouse stuff, though.

Edit: Wow. What was I thinking. All kinds of messed up. I did that conversion wrong. That's 10:40am EST. For some weird reason I went backwards and was thinking 4:40am EST. Man I need some coffee. Never mind the above.

Will be very odd if we have a Smash Bros DLC announcement outside of the Digital Event, and a Mario Kart DLC announcement in the Digital Event.
