On one hand it looks great. On the other, Game Freak are very incompetent devs. Harmoknight was more of an outlier than anything else. Hope they can prove me wrong.

Kind of in the same boat, but I'm sure it'll be more fun later on. It was, after all, only the beginning of the game.

Besides, after the ultra greatness that was HarmoKnight, I would be willing to try this game out even if the footage put me to sleep, though, lol.

I'm seeing this for the first time, and it looks really fun. But let me get this... this is a collab between SEGA and Game Freak... and it's a downloadable game for XBO, PS4 and PC only?

I mean, I know Game Freak is a third party, but it's still surprising.

Yeah, naw. Drill Dozer and Pulseman are too good for this sinful world. (As would Jelly Boy if the game just controlled better)
Though I'd understand if you're just going by Pokemon. I always thought Game Freak were far better at action games than Pokemon games, ironically enough.

Tembo's the Swahili word for elephant and it's kinda stuck around as a defacto name, like "Rover" for a dog or whatever. It's not much of a pull.

The destruction effects in this game look completely insane. I wasn't expecting a 2D indie title to be one of the best looking games in the XBox booth. There was also more depth to the gameplay than I was expecting. Tembo has a ton of abilities and there's a lot of speed run potential.
