From the interview.
"We're here to talk about Star Fox but Zelda is still coming to Wii U," Miyamoto said through an interpreter, "so don't worry about that."

Miyamoto continued, "My thing with E3 is that we always focus on what's coming out in the immediate future. We have some really great Zelda footage and, at some point we will be showing that off, but not today."

Yes. Like last year. When they debuted/discussed almost no games coming out in 2014.

Counting Dark Souls 3 in 2016, we'll have gotten almost the same # of "Souls" games (Demons, Dark 1, Dark 2, Bloodborne, Dark 3) over the past 7 years, spanning 2 consoles, than console Zelda games over the past 18 years, spanning likely 5 different consoles.

So are people mad that it was theoretically coming out on both systems. I dont get it. I actually prefered the GCN TP since it didn't have any motion control bs shoehorned in. God knows what the next gimmick for the NX will be. I will hedge my bets on a gimmick that is not overly intrusive like maps on the controller or pick it up for the next system if I even have one. More system options the better.

Or are people mad nintendo is bailing on the Wii U? The writing has been on the wall since it launched. Expecting them to go down with the ship and keep it on the market for some vague definition of a standard time is just bad business. I paid $200 for mine and have gotten my money out of it with what has been released so far and till its death.

Well since this game is built from the ground up to take full advantage of the wii U like most zelda games do and until we know what in the world NX is I doubt it will be a TP.
