The European Speedster Assembly 2015 event has now begun!
What is ESA?
European Speedster Assembly is not an organization on its own - it's just a plain, simple name for friendship between gamers. It started out with small local get-togethers, and stayed that way for a long time. It wasn't until 2012, in an attempt to gather speedrunners to try to fill a void nagging European speedrunners for some time, that it became an event called 'Swedes of Speed'. The event was later dubbed 'European Speedster Assembly' to reflect what it had come to be - an event with over 30 speedrunners present from all over the world, not just Europe. Needless to say, it was a success.
Keeping the momentum from previous years, ESA is aiming higher, working harder and running faster to make this years speedrunning gathering the best yet in Europe. Raising money for Doctors Without Borders whilst entertaining those who love video games as much as we do (and maybe even those who don't), this is the European Speedster Assembly.

Who are Doctors Without Borders?
All of your donations will go towards Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF): www.msf.org

Where can I watch?
Both streams are viewable from the European Speedster Assembly homepage, as well as directly from the ESA Twitch account (purple stream) and the Supporting Twitch account (yellow stream).
Two streams?
ESA want to emphasize diversity in speed gaming and are opening up game suggestions for longer RPGs, rhythm games, games with gimmicky accessories, shmups and challenging auto-scrollers. Basically anything as long as it's entertaining.
There will be two parallel streams. We are going to do our best to balance them as much as possible. This means an even greater variety of content and some behind the scenes action. Great isn't it?

How do I donate?
Purple Stream Tracker
Yellow Stream Tracker
First, select a tracker above and then press the Donate button. Enter your donation amount at the top left. Then on the right is a list of incentives to put your donation towards. Use the filter to search for key words (eg. bonus game, runner's choice, and so on) and allocate it how you like. During the donation process you'll be asked to leave a comment, these comments will appear in the donation tracker and might be read on stream as well! Don't go looking for prizes in the filter though -- as long as you enter at least the minimum donation for any given prize, you will be eligible to win that prize. Once your donation is received, it will appear on the donation tracker.

Is there a Schedule?
There sure is! You can view the schedule for both teams here. It shows times in your local time zones and is kept up-to-date throughout the marathon so any delays or early starts will be properly represented.
This event looks awesome!
It's pretty fantastic - the venue is amazing and there's plenty of awesome runners and games being played. You can even check out behind the scenes thanks to the @InsideESA twitter account!
