Meh, it was average at best. These kinds of games need to leave an emotional footprint once you're done, much like Limbo, Braid, etc. this one didn't.
I almost felt sad once your wolf guide got killed, but he turned into a spirit. No time to grieve, Dr. Jones!

Never Alone wasn't technically perfect, and had some frustrating mechanics at times, but it was a great experience. I recommend it to people when I can.

Yeah, I just played through and got really frustrated at some of the trial-and-error stuff but overall it was a fantastic experience.

I respect the designers of this game. Still don't know how I feel about it months later, but I feel it's worth checking out, Vita & PS3 folks.

No they dont. I think you were looking for something other than what they set out to accomplish. I was in for a small bit of Inupiaq education, the foremost purpose of the game, and I got exactly what I wanted. The game itself implemented those cultural elements well. It would be great if there were more educational games of this style.

Very very happy this is coming to Vita. I can't wait. Generally speaking, I don't like playing 2D games on a television. I like to be closer to the action. I would always rather play games like this on my Vita, so this is tremendous news for me. I've wanted to play this game for a long time, but not from six feet away.

OT - great little game, need to complete the last couple of levels. My 5 year old daughter has been entranced by it, and loved the tribal stories.

I just deleted this from the HDD today along with some other games I've enjoyed but finished like Valiant Hearts and Child of Light. If the DLC comes to PS4 (which I imagine it will)-- and especially if it contains more of those Cultural Insight vids-- I'll definitely re-install and have another go.
