They just took the old, realistic looking models and added cel-shading to them, which makes them look... weeeeeeeeird. They don't look like cartoons, like cel-shading is supposed to make them look.

Looks good, but I hope they polish it up a bit. The blue hair on the girl in the 3rd pic looks pretty bad and the character models in general look like they're from the ps2 gen.

Adding cel shading this late into development probably won't have great results.
I imagine they are doing this to hide the fact that it looks so bad.

It's funny I was looking at the PS store and saw the preorder for this and I was like, "They can't be serious with these screenshots." Now I'm even more confused. I feel like the only plausible explanation is that the game has mobile roots but maybe not, who knows.
