Seems like there's constantly a new thread about newly released Dead Rising info. Might as well try to get in consolidated into one thread, what iwth the game coming out so soon.

Game isn't out for about another three and a half weeks. I do not endorse this official thread.

Multiple threads aren't bad. I hate having to wade through 15 pages to find new info.

An official thread with no release date? Lame.
 
Anyone know if any stores are doing any kind of pre-order bonus for it? With the date approaching, I've been considering pre-ordering it more and more as it seems so many people have a frothing demand for this game.
 
The US boxart rocks, but it looks like Frank is on fire, or being shot out of a cannon or something. At any rate, tossing the TV is more in spirit to the game than a very serious pack of zombies in the UK version. It captures the horror/fun mix.

As weird as that shot is, the detail and sharpness of the quality is just, wow... it still bogles my mind, seriously...

Oh, and I disapprove of this thread - every big piece of info deserves its own thread - especially since the game still isn't here anytime soon yet...
 
I too think this thread is a bad idea, I hate trawling through official threads to find info I'm after. I'd rather see a new thread for each new batch of screenshots / gameplay movie / details on the game.

Sorry Ecrofirt, it's too soon IMO.
 
This has probably already been answered somewhere before, but is this the same zombie game that they showed off at (iirc) the 360 unveiling that looked really, really bad at the time. It showed zombies in city streets and the whole thing looked pretty terrible. This is obviously awesome now, just wondering whatever came of that old one.

No, you're thinking of another game where you're a demon and you get to command hordes of zombies. Forget the name though.

You can kill people with a Ratman frisbee, a Ratman pimp cane (that's what it looks like!) and a Ratman plastic lightsaber too!

This game rules. Anyone, like me, worried that the game might be repetetive and buttonmashy needn't worry. It's varied as **** (due to the millions of weapons) and has tons of cool little things in it. You can ride a skateboard into zombies! :lol

I predict a metalhead like Ecrofirt will orgasm when he first hits the park and finds the scythe and the lawnmower. :D
 
The achievements look great..I can't wait to see what they'll be like for Lost Planet & RE5. I can already see myself spending hours and hours on this bad boy.
