Do people even buy these games in Japan? And if they do..... I assume that's why there's a sequel to Kingdom of Paradise? ^^;

UG&G-FTW :D :D !!
I'm kinda surprised Famistu didn't hate on it (because of the difficulty level), like they did with the RockMan Remakes.

**** Bomberman Act Zero. It's probably crappy (Flaky as Famitsu is, if Famitsu gives something a 5, it probably is legitimately bad ), and it's the only reason Hudson isn't making Bomberman on XBLA yet because they don't want it to cut into its sales.

PLUS TOUCH BOMBERMAN LAND DS SUCKS A BIG FAT FATTY OVER WI-FI, SO IT'S NOT LIKE THAT'S AN ALTERNATIVE.

Yep, it's online too.
Disappointed with the EEE and Trion Cube scores. I guess Famitsu isn't often won over by puzzle games.

Ouch on Growlanser... what did the other ones get? Maybe too many Growlanser games coming out too soon, why the bad review? Also the E3 scores are a bit disappointing... game still looks great though, much better than Lumines 2 at least :p

Do people actually check Famitsu scores before making a game purchase?

You mean Japanese people or in general? I personally seem to agree with Famitsu much more than any other source. There's some few exceptions, but it's to be expected.

For Japanese titles or for ALL titles? There are a number of American titles that they've rated rather high that got clubbed like seals by Western reviewers.

I don't buy that many American or European games, so I guess mainly for Japanese games.

There's some interesting shit for Nintendo fans this week too:

Trauma Center NEO (Wii)

- Due to be out in 2006, so it should be within the launch window.
- It's 40% complete now.
- It's a "complete edition" of the DS game, not a sequel.
- There will be tons of content added to the game and the overall quality and graphics will be improved.
- There will be additional content set after the final chapter of the DS game.
- New characters.
- Voices.
- The Wii Remote will be used for surgery.

I thought the whole point of Second Opinion was suppose to have another scenario to go along with that one?
