I'm a Snoopy nut. I may rent this just becuase of Snoopy. :)

I wish they would stick a bunch of comic characters like Snoopy, Garfield, etc in a game.
 
I loved the atari game so damn much. I beat 200 staright matched when I was much younger, rant/ and was back in the day when you didn't get rewarded with an ending or unlockables /rant
 
If this gets halfway decent reviews, it's mine. It's been filed away in my brain to keep an eye on for about a year now. Snoopy's battles with the Baron were always my absolute favorite peanuts moments.

PSP - God know is desperately needs games like this, it looks fun and should have that pick up and play style.

Here's hoping they don't cock it up.

I'm pretty sure the Xbox version has been cancelled. Namco hasn't said anything about it since before E3.

The Xbox port was canceled (same time as Pac-Man Rally Xbox actually) and a Wii port was greenlit. Should rather naturally lend itself to Wii controls actually.

If there really is a port for the Wii and the reviews aren't terrible then this will be mine. It looks like so much fun. Snoopy/Peanuts far and away are my favorite cartoon/comic characters.
 
Those PSP screens look better than the first screens (from whatever version). Will get this for PSP if it turns out to be descent
 
Graphics are good enough on next-gen consoles that you could get an art style that would look very similar to the cartoon. Do that, get voice actors to match as close as possible the old ones, make a graphic adventure-type game or an Animal Crossing-esque social game, and end up with something that would actually do the Peanuts world some respect.

I'm sick of seeing the Peanuts gang tossed into just lazily tossed into some random genre of game and calling it a day.

So, this game better not be another misalignment of awesome IP and terribly underrealized gameplay possibilities.

I would imagine that this wasn't intentional, but the cinema scenes really remind me of the old Peanuts Viewmaster reels from the late '60s that used figures of the characters to act out scenes from the comic. For bonus fun, check out the company that created those reels.

As a Peanuts nerd, I'm really looking forward to getting this game. Considering that it's fairly cheap, I'll probably end up getting all the versions. I'm pretty sure that I have all the Peanuts consoles games, so I might as well keep that streak going.
