I wonder, does these numbers includes PS+ games ?
Around about 7 gamers per console owner, that's pretty damn good.
I was going to post that, haha.An average attach ratio of 7.39? Whoa...
Especially when you consider that the PS4 doesn't actually have any games.
Everyone is impressed with 7 games per owner, and here I am having owned about 50 games wondering how anybody could possibly have any less than 30.
Easy when you buy the PS4 for JRPGs like me.Everyone is impressed with 7 games per owner, and here I am having owned about 50 games wondering how anybody could possibly have any less than 30.

Does this include PS+ Downloads as "sales"? If not, that's a damn impressive number.
good stuff.
How does this compare to ps1, 2 & 3 during the same period

Must be somewhat close to 5 - 10%How much of those sales are from GTA V I wonder.
That's a lot of copies of Uncharted 4 and PS3 remasters.
An attach rate like that is impressive, but man, I must have nearly 500 games between retail and digital. I almost think it should be higher, but I guess people like us on GAF balance out the yearly sports/CoD folk

PS2 had over 1 billion I think sold, so highest attach rate there.
Yeah, Flash Sales have gotten me games that I haven't even started on yet. Never had a backlog of games until this generation. It's kind of off-putting.Those weekly flash sales are works of devils. I'm sure my library would have halved without them
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1330813PS4 software sales also remained strong during the 2016 holiday season with more than 50.4 million copies*3 sold in retail stores worldwide and through digital downloads on PlayStation®Store as of January 1, 2017. UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End reached a cumulative sell through of more than 8.7 million copies globally*4 as of December 21, 2016.
AmenScorpio.
That's essentially still an Xbox One with better graphicsScorpio.
