Nintendo has just updated its Japan recruit page looking for more Directors and Programmers for their mobile game development initiative. This is the third recruit campaign since earlier last year, where Nintendo specifically recruited seasoned talent to join their mobile development teams.

Development is for the Kyoto Development Center. Previous recruits were for both the Tokyo Office and Kyoto Development Center.

Pretty good. It was top 5 on Japan iOS charts and I just checked US android charts and it was 4

I mean, NSMB was always garbage and low-effort. They're just transferring that to mobile and putting quality titles on Switch.

Mobile is a good way to introduce their IPs to kids. There will be Pokémon Go nostalgia in 20 years, which is amazing to think about.
