Middle-earth: Shadow of War - Story Trailer

This looks great. They've cranked everything up to 11 for the sequel. Tolkien fans will no doubt be hurling in disbelief, but I love what they've done with the lore.

I hope they go full fanfiction in the future and don't connect it to any LOTR stuff outside the stuff that's already there , it has more potential that way.

For as much shit as WB Games gets for the DLC, pre order and season pass nonsense, god damn do they make games I really want to play.

Great trailer, but am I trippin, or do the character models look far less detailed than the original?

Did I see the first black dude in Middle Earth?

Looks good, still waiting to see if the environments turn out better than the first.

I like how all Microsoft' trademark information is hidden at the end. PS4 and PC is there but not Microsoft and Xbox. Guess they are really cautious spoiling Scorpio' name.

I loved the first game, platinum and everything. However what's going on with the graphics in this game? It looks worse than some last gen games with these character models and animations (See games like Halo 4) It looks even worse than the first did and that game was far from a looker, so disappointed

I'm hyped for Shadow of War. The story looks like it is going in an interesting direction. I'm also hyped for the gameplay, as well. There still isn't a game that has replicated the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor. I just hope there is a bit less repetition, and a bit more mission variety this time around. Also, as far as the graphics go, I think everything looks pretty good outside of the human character models, which admittedly look pretty bad. Still, while it's not Horizon level visuals, but I think it looks fine overall.

The game looks.. graphically underwhelming? Or is it just me?

Typically games that have heavy dynamic and "on-the-fly" features have average to above average graphical fidelity.

Its just due to the nature of individual scenes/ characters beings dynamic to the player choices

Damn. That was Arkham City level of stuffing in as much as possible. Good. I really think people are low keying this game. I have high exceptions.

Have you played the original? Only those that haven't played the original are low keying it.

Honestly, that game kept on upping the stakes with every progression, it kept on surprising me, something that most developers struggle to do.

Lighting in a bottle. Striking twice. Bring it, WB!

My main fear is they don't improve on the incredibly simple and easy combat from the first game. It's really meh.

Yeah other than Talion and a few other of the human character models, everything in this trailer looks super high quality. Story looks meaty, soundtrack was good and used effectively, voice work was top notch, and from the last game we already know that the gameplay foundations are solid af.

I look forward to this game more and more with each trailer

Shelob?

I fucking loved the original and this looks way better, but I don't know if I can handle that.........

With this being out on Xbox One Scorpio, I expect 4K 30fps and 1080p 60fps on the scorpio when it launches?

Wonder how the game would perform on Pro? 1440p upscaled to 4K, 1080p30fps with graphical bells and whistles.

99% it will be native 4K on Scorpio. I read somewhere that this game will showcase the power of Scorpio hardware. So i am expecting 4K.
Not sure about PS4 Pro.
