The Crew 2 (Early 2018) Cinematic & Gameplay Trailers (Planes & Boats now too)+ Beta

I'm in. I still loved the first game, wonky handling be damned - this will likely be the only sort of spiritual TDU we'll see from now on too.

Put 100's of hours into the first game.

Boats and Planes..... in a car racing franchise? :/ Not sure about this one.

Being able to see the horizon from planes sounds pretty dope, but I wonder what that is in terms of The Crew's scale.

Instant switching between vehicle types seems super dope though I don't know how much I'll use it.

Gimme The Crew 3 with trains so I can

Ubi seems to love this whole multisport idea, alongside Steep. I'm not sure if the racing audience is also going to be the flying audience.

imo just the name "The Crew" doesn´t implie being a car franchise only. I think it will add a great variety to the game while still making people happy that are playing only for the cars as they already developed a great framework with The Crew 1.

Ubisoft website sucks. Been trying to signup for the beta for ages and nothing loads.
Yeah I'm trying to sign in to see if that helps and that isn't working either.

Yeah I would have just preferred a greater refining of the driving and variety of cars. Genres that branch out usually compromise somewhere.

Two questions, for anyone who might have found info about them.

This:
Is this still a mmo ?

And do we have a number of vehicles confirmed? With so many different types of transport, I hope they keep a large number of car brands available.

I did enjoy this trailer a lot, overall a good show for Ubi, best of E3 so far.

This looks really good fun. The original game had a terrible crime story element that actually got in the way of the best elements.

Looks like they've realised their mistake and this game looks set to be Ubisoft's answer to Forza Horizon.

I've signed up for the beta.

Theoretically, this looks like it could be fantastic. An even harder lean into arcade territory, and waaaaay more variety. I love that the world folding wasn't just for the CG trailer. I think the half-whisper of the presentation speaker was an odd choice. Soundtrack and handling are where this will live and die. I hope it has proper single-player content.

Thought the trailer looked fantastic. Not sold on the actual game though. I gave The Crew a wide swerve after playing the demo.

looks very fun. i liked the first crew gameplay wise but it was technically poor and was very cross genish. if they can nail the boat and plane handling im in

The Inception Effect is actually a real thing and not just for the CG trailer:

Wtf, I thought the red bull air race planes plus boats plus cars sounded awesome. Back to a wait and see now. At least they are tryin something different I guess.
