Detroit Become Human E3 2017 trailer

Here you go

Seems to be little buzz for this?
Looks like a fun romp to me

This is the most 'Humans' the game has appeared so far, I like it.

-3 playable characters: Kara (probably more narration/exploration heavy), Connor (detective angle ala Nahman Jayden), Marcus (can lead the revolution, probably most action)
-All 3 of them can die in many scenes ending their arc
-This is indeed aimed to be their most heavy branching game yet which obviously means it will take a while to produce, but as far as I heard they are making good progress now
-Jesse Williams is indeed playing Marcus (mocap, face, voice)

I think Q2/Q3 2018 seems likely tbh

No release date was a huge blow for me. Was hoping to play it by May 2018, now I'm not so sure.

Still looks great though.

Yeah I'm a bit baffled by the ambiguity about the release, it looks relatively far along.

My one complaint is probably this Marcus fellow seems a bit generic videogame protagonist to me (like something Ubisoft cooked up), but it's good we have an ensemble cast

No release window is disappointing. I guess the game is further out than I had thought.

Really enjoyed the trailer though. It didn't hook me to quite the same extent as Connor the cyborg detective tackling the hostage situation, but it was still cool.

How does this still not have a date. Looks good. Why doesn't the player character in this trailer have the blue circle on his temple?

2019? -_-

Not really keen on Eddie Redmayne's character (then again I never like Redmayone at all) but Kara and Marcus look interesting at least. I hope there are more characters to play as than those 3.

Completely uninterested compared to last years protagonist, loved the detective narrative of finding out what happened why this android went rogue trying to negotiate with him... and then...this trailer bleh.

awful. might be worth renting for a laugh to see David Cage's take on race politics/social injustice. and Eddie Redmayne? wut. only person I recognized in there was the dude from Greys Anatomy.

To be honest this one kinda confused me. Either the game has multiple perspectives, or they decided to scrap the original character premise entirely outside of a cameo to focus on other aspects.

I dunno, I kinda liked the 'android detective/negotiator' angle more.

It looks like the game is broken down into various scenarios, where you may change protagonist between the various scenarios. An anthology of short stories woven together into a larger narrative. I think that it is a really cool approach for a narrative-focused game like this. I am a sucker for robot stories, so I might get this whenever it comes out.

Looked kinda corny

You play multiple perspectives. Kara, the detective, and the dude in this. Maybe more.

Before anyone asks, this was the final playable character unveil. Connor and Kara are still playable exactly as shown. Every character has a different story and gameplay twist but they will connect

The detective aspect wasn't even the 'original' premise. Kara was first. Then Conner. Both of which appeared in this trailer briefly.

Guys have you ever even played a Quantic Dream game.

Farenheit and Heavy Rain both had many protagonists. They dont keep scrapping the game every year.

Jesus, this was laughably bad. I wasn't expecting much after Heavy Rain ans Beyond but somehow this still managed to impress me negatively XD

It..it looks like Infamous without the electric powers. Not sure how I feel about this one, then again I'm not David Cage's biggest fan.

It's an ensemble cast, so multiple perspectives

Trailer was great. Not as gripping as the one they showed last year but it's still well done. Really was hoping for at least a blanket '2018' release date though.

I'm ready for another round.

games like this are cool if your choices actually change things drastically
not like say fallout 4 where the choices do literally nothing

Cage game about slave uprising will be...interesting

Good option - Talking it out with your oppressors with logic and reason
Bad option - Breaking the window of a Starbucks
Woke option - Actually both sides are the same
