I can't believe they announced this!

It is like some wet dream.

This is the exact kind of content I want to see on XBLA. The other three titles Capcom announced are the type of thing I might have to try before I buy. However, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is like an insane gamer dream come to fruition!

I didn't. I hoped for SF4, but, nooo...more Street fighter 2. :/

I can see why some "crapped their pants" though. It should like nice.

Dude kittymuffins, I filled my pants on fully three of the four XBLA/PSN games they announced.

SSF2Turbo, Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and HOLY **** TALISMAN

TAAAAAAAAAALISMAN

If it's exactly like the board game, I will do nothing more than play Talisman every night forEVER.

I'm not familar with talisman but it sounds like so mething I might want to see a demo of. I did post a thread about Culdcept Saga, today.........a board game of sorts but much more nerdy.

Personally, I think Puzzle Fighter tops a new Nights for the Wii in terms of nerd boy "wowness" factor. Also, anyone notice that Capcom loves insanely lengthy titles?

Talisman is a super-wicked board game with RPG elements (I still feel it's more board game than RPG, but it's close) and TONS of great job classes to choose from. It's really competitive, but there's room for alliances and cease fires and man oh man there were some ****ing great expansions for it that I hope we eventually get as well.
 
Wait hold on Im late to the party. Was this just announced. Are there screenshots. Is this for XBLA. A little more info would have been nice. I currently play puzzle fighter online with Kaillera but moving it over to 360 with live play is like a dream come true.

This fall, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo comes to Xbox LIVE Arcade, PLAYSTATION® Network and PC in its greatest incarnation to date. Apparantly, the backgrounds are being redrawn by UDON. SSF2Turbo HD will have all sprites redrawned though and is suppose to look SEXED up for 1080P hotness

Yeah, the redrawn high-res sprites are beautiful in that example.
 
Wow... I'm completely blown away.

Puzzle fighter is going to totally own and I didn't even know anyone loved Talisman like I used to growing up. That could be really, really cool (perhaps even topping Catan if it's done well).

i crapped in my pants. I don't know to pick this up on PSN or 360. BUT I was really hoping for Street Fighter 4 :(

Reading the OP I thought this was only going to be available on XBLA, which made me go =( but then i saw it's going ot be available on PSN as well as on PC and it made me go =D.

I don't see why those wouldn't be the real deal, it does say "samples" and not "concepts" in the frame. It wouldn't make any sense to put in concept shots next to actual sprites from SF2 and GG.
 
I am all over Puzzle Fighter.

Very glad to see puzzle games coming to the next-gen consoles even if it is all digitally distributed upgraded ports.
