Running on the old (2004) Dell Axim X50v portable with TV out, Intel showcased their 2700G graphics processor for cellphone level devices with a graphics demo called Twilight. Developed in OpenGL ES, the demo was the creation of Futuremark.

The X50v PDA also ran Twilight at full resolution on its own built-in 640x480 screen as well as demonstrated VGA quality video playback.

Quake 3 was also able to run at playable frame rates on the X50v, in a port of the open source PC code by Christien Rioux.

So how would one actually play something like Quake 3 on something that size

I don't know, 13FPS seems close to unplayable.

The frame rate is typically between 15 and 20, but performance is worse on systems where the user didn't leave a lot of RAM available for the application.

The X50v is similar in size to other portable consoles.

Toy Golf on the X51v is shown in a brief video, looking like it could pass for a new level out of Toy Commander on Dreamcast.
