I just have to imagine how she met her brother for the first time after the change was completed: "Now, show me your pu**y" :lol
 
I've gotta ask, hell maybe one of you have gotten a sex change and can answer me: Why is their new name almost always very similar to their previous name? Why not pick something completely different to reflect the new them, or whatever

Pure speculation: wanting a sex change is different from wanting a new identity, and keeping a name close to their original gender name makes the transition easier, psychologically?

More speculation: perhaps the name was adopted at an early age, since many transgenders self identify as the opposite sex well before they actually begin taking hormones/going through surgical procedures?

Although I'm sure taking a similar name to one's original name isn't a universal truth, either.

For speculating that's pretty accurate I'm referring to the pure spec not more. In my case not the same completely different, first is j femme is an s and no I'm not saying more on the subject.

Larry needs some facial feminization get the jawline and forehead corrected then things should look more in tune with a female shape with money she has image shouldn't be an issue in terms of look.

Edit - Pitt it's a self correction for most ts being on the other side is a living hell most can't imagine.

Being born with a body that's the other gender to your mind must be a horrible thing to live with. They do it to themselves because up until that point, their body does not match who they are.
 
you know, most people who get sex changes do so for a legitimate reason, i.e. because they feel like they were stuck in the wrong gender even from birth. this guy is just some rich hollywood snob who did it because it's part of his sexual fetish.

it's a mental issue. i don't know a lot, but it takes years of therapy before a surgeon treats the person. and the person ends up, of course, feeling happier when they project their true feelings/thoughts on the outside too.

if they feel like they need it and accept it, that's better than ending up in suicide :/
 
uhh I don't really see the difference between the "new" photo and the previous one.

Do really believe what you just said? Maybe he genuienly needed to transition.
 
I never understood why people do this. If a gay man turns into a woman, he basically has alienated himself from all men. Except for possibly other gay men, but wouldnt a gay man want to be with another man..not a man turned woman? I know this wachowski dude/chick says he still will be into women, but what woman will want to be with her?

I mean I know I can't speak for everyone, and some people will look passed it. But geez, guess I will never understand being so unfulfilled in life and thinking something like that was the answer.
 
I don't think it has anything to do with orientation. They just don't feel like they were born the right gender. So if Larry/Lana was born a woman, she would just be a lesbian.

The funny part about Wachowski's situation is that she/he/it left his wife or girlfriend a while ago for a professional dominatrix. So now she/he/it is a lesbian, I guess.
