Thought Rugby 08 would do better, looks like it's time for EA to get that Nova Scotia team working on a 360/PS3 version for next year.

Looks like Wii has become the de-facto golf console this generation. Makes sense given the control scheme.

Wow at MOH's and Two World's debut, 360 sales must be really up this week thanks to the price drop/Elite.

Edit: Wow 2 at Blue Dragon outselling every PS3 game on the chart. o_0

Two Worlds? Really UK, Two Worlds?

But the box suggests its just like Oblivion!

A friend of mine was interested, he was also hinting I should buy a copy and we could play co-op over Live. I ensured that he understood it wasn't worth a purchase no matter what. He has already bought Spiderman 3, Superman Returns and Dynasty Warriors 5 on the 360 this year. I don't want my only gaming buddy to get further corrupted by crap.

It's Summer - game sales are slow in UK Summer and the handhelds normally ruling the roost. I don't think Two Worlds sold really well, I just think everything else sold really crap.

Why is two worlds doing better than blue dragon (blue dragon is 9/10 game) why do uk gamers hate jap rpgs so much
i hate uk and im in it too :(

What is wrong with PAL gamers? MoH:A over Bioshock? Plus Two Worlds?

I know MoH:A is a new title this week but it feels like average game worth renting only. Well, to me at least. :)

Bioshock has been out a couple of weeks, most people who want it have likely got it by now.

Blue Dragon had quite a mixture of review scores, only OXM gave it 9/10 IIRC. Also Marumaro will put a lot of people off. I expect Lost Odyssey to do far better.

And JRPGs have never really sold too well in the UK with the exception of serious AAA titles like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts - but even they haven't exactly set sales records.

Why do I suddenly get the feeling people will munch up Fatal Inertia when it comes out on the back of it being like a certain popular racer...

Why Britain why...

I'm just surprised that people are buying MoH:A. I didn't expect it to top chart anywhere.

It's being advertised at the cinema a hell of a lot (before Ultimatum and Disturbia) and the MoH brand has always been big in the UK
and with the Playstation generation
.

When is Stranglehold's UK PAL release date?

This Friday. But expect Super Paper Mario on the top next week.

How in the hell did Trauma Center manage to chart again? I spent a whole week trying to find that damn game, it's not available anywhere.

Or maybe everybody bought it 2 minutes before I entered each shop. Yeah, that's it. they charted just to spite me and my sister's birthday. British people are all evil and out to get me.

I don't like the formatting in the first post. You can't see last weeks positions. Here's the other UK charts.

The commentary for the All Formats/All Prices chart:

EA takes control of No1 in the All Formats Chart after losing out to 2K Games/Take 2’s ‘Bioshock’ last week, but it’s newcomer ‘Medal of Honor: Airborne’ which claims top spot, outselling EA’s ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08’ at No2 by only 78 units.

‘Bioshock’ sales fall by 59%, down from No1 to No3, while 2 more Top 10 new entries – ‘Two Worlds’ from South Peak Games at No4 and EA’s latest Sims expansion ‘The Sims 2: Bon Voyage’ at No8 - mean Nintendo’s presence in the All Formats Top 10 is reduced from 4 to 3 (the 2 Brain Training DS titles and ‘Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree’). Both the original Brain Training and the sequel slip 2 places, down to No’s 5 and 7 respectively while ‘Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree’ drops 4 places from No6 to No10 and ‘Pokemon Diamond’ falls out of the Top 10, down from No10 to No19. THQ’s ‘Stuntman: Ignition’ and ‘Worms: Open Warfare 2’ have good second weeks with the latest Stuntman game up from No9 to No6 and an 80% jump in sales pushes Worms up from No38 to No11. The only other new entry is Capcom’s PSP game ‘Monster Hunter: Freedom 2’ at No39.

Which one is bigger - COD or MoH?

Wasn't Monster Hunter Freedom 2 the biggest selling title in Japan last year? I thought it might have made more of a splash over here, guess I was wrong.

I would actually say MoH although CoD has done better in recent times thanks to better reviews and word of mouth. It's a bit like the FIFA / Pro Evo situation.

MoH really is a Playstation generation game though. The first was huge on the PSX, the second was huge on the PS2. It's a game that people probably associate(d) with the Playstation brand.

Now that I take seriously the scripting and such, but I agree. We've gotten used to the full formatting, why mess with success. You can simply add the corresponding console/handheld version somewhere in said game listing.

Before I knew about who was who I thought it was a playstation game. Which beggs the question of why it's selling on the 360 was MoH ever big on the xbox as it is on the 360.? It's not big or anything but I mean it seems to sell well enough.

No, MoH was never big on the Xbox, but then Xbox games very rarely hit the Top 10 at all in the UK unless they were big (Halo, Fable), and even then they'd drop really quickly.

Screw the haters I love the formatting of the first post. Much easier to read. If I want to look at the other charts ill do it myself on charttrack.

please don't tell me there was a MoH:A version for PS3 that launched side by side with the 360 version that couldn't manage to even appear on the top 40.

that can not be possible.

No, MoH PS3 has been delayed 'indefinitely'. But alledgedly will be out in November.

WTF @ Spain. You sure Bioshock isn't 360+PC? And wtf @ Blue Dragon? I thought 360 was completely and utterly dead in Spain.
