No WipEout HD this Year (and other PSN things)

looks like wipEout got pushed back to next year, but there should be a demo for everybodys golf this year, kula world downlaod psn game (fuck yeah) and some strange pack for motorstorm (no online anymore?).

I haven't taken my PS3 online in a dogs age, but you'd think this would have quite a community around it, I mean it's fantastic fun. I just don't get it.
 
No-one spotted the sneaky comment in there - we'll get something official on FW 2.00 tomorrow, and the release will be in the next two weeks...

I'd trade my copy in for Mass Effect but it has "NOT FOR RESALE" plastered all over it. It wicked fun and I love the game, just gets a bit too repetitive.

There's no way they will take Motorstorm offline this month. they are still bundling the game with Starter PS3 packs!!

yeah I am pretty sure it just means replacing the old online downloads on PSN.
 
Wait, the OP is worded poorly for Motorstorm, right? That means they're changing the DLC on PSN, not that they're taking the game offline, right? I mean, CAC and other PSN games are still supported online, why would Motorstorm (one of the best-selling PS3 games) suffer such an early death? Besides which, I just bought the game last week and haven't had a chance to even play it thanks to R&C. I don't want to find out it's got no online mode when I finally give it a spin. PEACE.

Ah, good. Does the new pack look better than the old ones? Should I dload the old ones now, since I have the game, or wait until the new ones come? Also, can I dload old packs on my EU account and play them with my US game? I assume so since it's region-free. PEACE.
 
From what I know...Wipeout HD is still on schedule for a Late December release, it's scheduled to be content complete by November 29th and then straight into Submissions.
So with it being on PSN...it can be approved on Christmas EVE and STILL be out before Christmas!

This shit is getting ridiculous. Still,, Kula World, that's pretty cool. Wipeout demo is at least some consolation as well, I suppose.
 
The threespeech thing you list to doesn't mention a THING about motorstorm being offline, and you need to source something like that, as its a fucking pack in game.
 
The "Motorstorm going offline" thing has to be a bs rumor.

Why would they take it offline so soon after they've just released expansion packs that cost money and use online? Nevermind that they just added online to Japanese versions.
 
There's no way they would take Motorstorm offline this early. I could see the servers being switched over to Motorstorm 2 once it is released.
