Markus and Valerie are eventually taken into a government organization known as Caduceus, where they begin to learn about a vast conspiracy and a new and mysterious virus called Stigma.

Elena Salazar
One of Mark's former patients, 20 year old Elena ends up following a nurse career at Concordia.

Marcy Bloom

Nintendo Power - 8.0 ?

Games like New Blood fit the Wii almost perfectly, and even after blowing through two full games during the system’s first year we’re still asking for more, as there’s simply no denying the franchise’s motion/IR appeal. We could write volumes on why this game works, but it wouldn’t change the simple fact that it just does, so rather than read about the game you’d be better off grabbing a copy (and a friend) and just diving into one of the best pure gameplay experiences Wii has to offer. Trauma Center: New Blood is the best in the series, and a must-have for any Wii owner. Buy it, love it, and then beg for more.

Enjoyed the last game, looking forward to this :D

Edit-
It really is an incredible year for gaming, there seems to be something for everyone! I really don't know where I'm going to find the time to play them all :(

Don't like that "Let the rhythm guide my soul" line. Too cheezy =P

It sounds like a Dance Dance Revolution line.

I'll get this eventually, but I still haven't beaten Second Opinion yet.

This has been the best month for Wii so far. Zack & Wiki, Fire Emblem, Galaxy, and now Trauma Center.

Buying this for Co-Op mostly...but the additions they're making are awesome...

Plus Atlus always gets good voice actors...should be a real treat for fans.

so is 480p and 16:9 confirmed? i have read conflicting reports on the interwebs.

Look at the posted screenshots for a moment if you need 16:9 confirmation. I'm pretty damn sure that progressive scan is confirmed as well.

Am I the only one who thinks this is one ugly baby?

This was one of the first screen shots and when I saw it I was afraid New Blood would be crap. That baby is so freaking ugly, but thankfully the rest of the game looks amazing.

Agreed there is no reason to have slim pickings in the summer and then too much in the winter

The key is to not buy every game during the holiday. That way you can buy the rest later in the summer during any drought.

Is there any chance the Healing Touch was removed or the way to activate it was changed? I couldn't draw a star consistently with the Wiimote, making the game impossibly lame. If they fix that, I'm all over this.

I was just about to say how much I liked the artwork till the baby reared it's head up in a creepy attempt at being cute.

I was wondering when somebody would make an official thread for this. :D Great job! I'll be getting this game next week for sure.

Not that I'm aware of.

Why couldn't you draw a star consistently?

No idea. It just wouldn't register. I had a similar problem drawing an "8" in Phantom Hourglass. Some games are just too strict with their requirements. If they loosen up their definition of a star, this is must play for me.

I completely forgot this was coming out and I LOVED the previous entries. Too many games (and might I say, the Wii's fall lineup has been surprisingly good).

I always thought the drawing was pretty loose, actually. In fact, they have to make it somewhat loose, because the better you draw your star, the longer your Healing Touch lasts.

Were you playing the DS or Wii version?

I've played both.

I had no control issues with the DS version. I had one (the star) with the Wii. It's such a great game, too. If I could just draw a star...

In PH they expect you to use virtually all of the screen, like 85-90%. I'm guessing the same for TC.

To get ready for TC I recommend drawing some stars on a piece of paper ten times for every three lines.

I'll actually just get this now in order to use the TRU deal: 2 new games, 3rd game free.
No TRUs nearby! And I'm actually running out of money to take advantage of all the cheap gaming lately.

Yeah i had a bit of trouble drawing a star too, mainly getting the last line to intersect at the start point was kind of hard. I could do it 3/4 of the time but there were times when it took me 5 tries which cost me the level. I wouldn't mind if they made it a bit easier or connected the last line for you if you were off a bit.

The first Wii game wasn't 16:9 or 480p right?

There is some really stiff competition all around this hoilday season. I hoping this does well enough keep the series going.

Ha! That's some hardcore training there. Maybe I'll draw a star on a wall in my cubicle and trace the lines with a flashlight over and over again.

Do you have some sort of pen light or keychain light?
