Losing virginity in 20s or later linked to sexual dysfunction. Majority of GAF DOOMED

Men who lose their virginity in their 20s, in particular, seemed to be more likely to experience sexual problems that include difficulty becoming sexually aroused and reaching orgasm.

This explains so much :(

Wouldn't you be super excited for sex after waiting that long - how can it be hard for you to get aroused? I think people who haven't gotten laid are the ones hyping sex up so much and people who start pre-20 are like meh by the time they are 25.

Exactly. If you don't do it for the first time until you're mid-20s or something, when the time finally comes you'll be so nervous and there'll be so much pressure on you to complete the transaction that problems may occur.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. Sexual dysfunction can be caused by far more relevant factors. Granted, nervousness could be an issue but that's not a guaranteed cause of abstinence.

Is the study trying to say that men have sexual dysfunctions BECAUSE they lost their virginity later in life....aren't the dysfunctions more likely to be the reason it took them so long?
Rather, they note in the study, there may be factors common to both the delay of sexual activity and the onset of sexual dysfunction -- for example, they write, "[M]en with sexual problems may avoid sexual interactions and consequently start later."
:D

The increase in sexual problems was also seen in those who had a comparably earlier sexual debut.

:lol

Whatever you do, you're doing it wrong.

"Our results do not allow for causal interpretations," the study authors write.

:lol :lol :lol :lol

How can a tight juicy vagina (or rectum for some) not arouse anyone or give them an orgasm?

I hate responding to you because of your joke character status, but its not as simple or easy as a caveman like you might suspect.

Maybe not.

I'm a virgin at 19, and I just want to get it over with just to get rid of the stigma. If you do something enough times it gets boring.

Uhh... what?

I'm 24 and every time I find myself in a conversation with a girl I find attractive at, say, work... part of me wants to start making out with her right then and there, but that would obviously be a bad idea.

And if I let my mind keep going, I'd probably get a boner in the middle of the conversation.

It's always best to listen to that little devil on your shoulder.

what if you like wide vaginas?

You mean the Grand Canyon type? :lol
But seriously, wtf @ their study. This shit isn't proven is it? It's just a bunch of "fake" research to keep the youngins from getting some. Even the society is trying to cockblock us.
*sigh*

Uh, I guess it depends on whether or not you're actually trying to have sex with someone of the same gender.

does masturbation not count for achieving the same function? (come on guys admit it)

I would think this is more of a psychological thing than a physical limitation with your body. I don't doubt the study, but I do think they're being a bit sensationalist, in that probably the majority of men who lost their virginity after their teens won't experience sexual dysfunction at all. It depends entirely on the individual and their mindset.

I lost mine at 18 and now 27. I don't know what kind of boring sex you're having but sex is definitely NOT "meh" to me at this time.

Fuck, I better move fast while I'm still 19.

:D I wouldnt worry too much, this study is more about learned behavior that is easier when your young then anything concrete. Its still same silly study like carrots prevent cancer, then carrots give you cancer nonsense.

Are you still the horny 16 year old who would bang anything with a skirt? If so, then you need to slow down a bit cowboy. :D
