Kunio-kun Dodge Ball/Dodge Ball Brawlers Update Thread

This comes from "Spizzy" on GFaqs:

Similar to another game with the word Brawl in the title, every week, Aksys Games (translators) will be releasing info about a different team, their members, gameplay videos of their special throws, etc. The updates will be posted in their blog here:

The first update starts with the star team, the Nekketsu team:

The videos have no sound, but they're just short few-second demos showing off what the throws look/act like. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is that the characters run a bit slowly. It shouldn't be too big of a problem, though.

Anyways, opinions anyone? Favorite throws? I think Kouji's Lightning Shot and Hiroshi's throws look particularly awesome. The Nuts Shot looks particularly painful as well. >_>

....It's looking more and more like this game will be permanently glued to my DS once it finally arrives. Again, I can only say that 2008 is going to be a most awesome year of gaming for me...

That time again, boys and girls.

This time, it's Team America. Those of you who are familiar with some of the other games in the Kunio Sports line might remember the likes of Jonny, Raphael and Jimmy (the3rd guy who knows Double Dragon moves in the Kunio-verse, who's stuck on the sidelines).

But even if you don't, you don't need to know their history to be able to appreciate what they and their posse an do with a Dodge Ball.

In any case, this DOES raise my hopes that the other schools/gangs from the Kunio-kun-verse may end up being represented here. Gouda, Godai, the Dragon Twins, the Tiger Twins and hopefully much, much more...! This will definitely be THE fanservice gift to Kunio fans like myself, especially after those lackluster "Kunio Collections" for the GBA a year or two ago.

...This game will definitely be glued into my DS once my import copy arrives in February. :lol

Huge Dodgeball fan here. Played the crap out of the original NES game on release. Never really imported any of the other ones except for the SNES one, which was crappy. Own a copy of the Neo Geo game, which is excellent.

I think I'll wait for the english version of this game though.
