Whenever I see these new names, my first thought is, "Holy shit, new game! And it sounds sorta non-generic!" And then, I realize that it's probably some dumb-fuck sequel that I don't care about.

Uhh... I'm not sure if Crystal Guardians implies that they're dropping Final Fantasy CC. It could very easily be FF:CC:tCB:CG.

Subtitles are always trademarked separately. This doesn't imply any such thing.

Tales of the Nexus sounds like the most likely. Tales of Hearts sounds too Kingdom Hearts-ish, so that one won't be used. Tales of the Genesis is too bible-y.
