Edit: Files are gone now.
I figured some people here might find these interesting. The school didn't inform those of us who took the class that they were put up, so I have no idea how long they'll last.
Last fall at UT, Warren Spector led a master class on game design. It was an all-day class with a lab portion for the first half, and a lecture/Q&A for the second half. The following lectures have been posted to the site:
ttp://rtf.utexas.edu/rtf343/media.html
(some of the links are wrong, but they're all there)
I haven't gone through them yet (most of them are over 2.5 hours long), but the quality is decent. Unfortunately my favorite lecture (Paul Weaver) wasn't uploaded in its entirety
Some of these are rehashes of previous presentations (I remember Mike Morhaim reused his from a previous convention), but there are still Q&A portions if you've heard this stuff before. Also, Warren Spector gave additional lectures after the Patricia York and Matthew Bellows talks.
Personally, I found the Richard Hilleman (EA), Richard Garriot (Lord British), and Seamus Blackley (too many roles to list) to be the most enjoyable lectures. The day Marc LeBlanc came was cool too because he came into the lab portion and put us through a design exercise where we had to take a known video game and turn it into a board game.
