Since annecdotal evidence suggests that any 360 supply issues were cleared up by the last week of February, this will be a very interesting NPD.

I expect 360 to pull ahead a couple months till MGS4. Fall will be interesting factoring in Blu Ray victory, and some large Sony titles.

Army of Two >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PES. Fix that potential big releases thing at the bottom. Army of Two had to have done around 300k on the 360. PES probably didn't even bust 100k on any platform.

[360] 345k
[NDS] 575k
[PS2] 340k
[PS3] 280k
[PSP] 400k
[WII] 650k

smash bro's came out. lets hope they stocked those wii's!

Oh, what the hell:

[360] 340k
[NDS] 580k
[PS2] 380k
[PS3] 310k
[PSP] 350k
[WII] 600k

EDIT: Out of curiosity, was there a listing for all the people close to the last NPD? Not that I expect to be anywhere on it, but I'm curious how things went.

[WII]800K
[NDS]640K
[PSP]300K
[PS2]300K
[PS3]290K
[360]280K

I'm highballing the Wii, just because it seems like all the major retailers got at least 2 big shipments last month.

No problem. :)

5 week month and some people are predicting 500k for Wii for the very month that SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL launched? Is the supply situation really that bad, I mean really really? One would thought they'd stack up some units for the one of the most important titles in US this year...

Well, here goes:

[360] 350k
[NDS] 630k
[PS2] 330k
[PS3] 295k
[PSP] 365k
[WII] 695k

Check last month's thread. The unit result is posted for everyone. The point system results is posted for the Top 50.

Even with SSBB, I can't fathom that Nintendo can produce enough units to lift it over 500k. Believe me, it would be amazing if they do. I just don't see it happening.

...and if by chance they do, wouldn't that be the most non-holiday sales ever for a console?

A straight 25% increase from last month's NPD would land them at 540K. Are you (or anyone else putting Wii under 540K) saying you can't see them producing Wiis at the same pace they did last month?

October 2007 Wii had 519K, September 2007 was 501K for Wii and 528K 360 (Halo 3).

If you don't think that Nintendo held back extra stock for SSBB, then you are mad!
