OK so I finally listened to Thriller again the other day for the first time in something like 20 years :lol
Couldn't believe how much a lot of songs haven't aged at all. Human Nature, Thriller, Baby Be Mine and Billy Jean are still awesome classics that still hold up today. I never did like Beat It that much and The girl is mine is meh.
But the real turd of the show is The Lady in My Life. When this song came on I was like "Oh...I remember this song, I forgot it was on the damn album :lol"
Pretty much a bland love ballad that's forgettable. But for some odd...and I mean REALLY strange reason, this damn song has been stuck in my head for the past TWO days! I told my girl about the problem and she was like "What the fuck dude? That song blows. Get it out of your head now!" and I was like "Fuck off, bitch! It aint as easy as you make it sound! I'm TRYING FFS!"
But yeah, has this ever happened to any of you, where a crappy, forgettable song gets stuck in your head for absolutely no reason? A song that, no matter how hard you try to erase, is still there, even when you're trying to think of other songs you actually DO like?
It's getting pretty frustrating
