Help me Anime fans!

I'm looking for new Anime to watch, I've been out of the anime pool for a few months only watching Fan sub Bleach and Naruto Shippuden. But while I'm waiting on new eps I need other Anime to watch at home... (and on lunch break at work).

what I like...

Funny, silly, action, perversions (think Goldenboy old school) (no hentai)

Last good Animes I've watched

Claymore (nothing funny, but it was damn good)
Azumanga Daioh (Funny stuff)
D-gray man (good stuffs)

..and a few others I can't remember right now.
 
Well...
You have Slayers, silly, action, boob size jokes.

Seasons 1 - 3 are purchasable from Funamation unbutchered. (Crappy Pre-Funimation English - MONO / Original Japanese - STEREO)
Season 4 starts in July.
 
Gurren Laggan is the best anime ever made.
Death Note is entertaining.
Code Geass can be ridiculous but its addicting and entertaining.
Do not fall for One Piece.
Black Lagoon is pure awesome comedy/action

If you like comedy/action, check out One Piece. One of the best series ever, IMO. It does start off awfully slow, but if you give it a chance, you will be hooked. I'm sure of it.

Like Azumanga, but with blokes and violence. One of the characters thinks he's Freddy Mercury. Nuff said.
 
I'm really enjoying Code Geass right now, even though it's only a few episodes in, dubbed. Death Note's alright, but kinda boring/repetitive.

If you want something older, Slayers was absolutely hilarious. Martian Successor Nadesico bounced back and forth between being hilarious and action-packed/emotional. Plus it has one of the best after-series movies.

Definitely contains all of these: funny, silly, action, perversions. Watch the OAV first, then start from episode 3.
 
I heartily recommend the Japanese language English-subtitled Beck. It's corny, badly drawn, badly animated, but I love it. It's definitely one of a kind, which cannot be said about many Japanese cartoons.

Claymore anime sucks, read the manga it doesnt have a shitty ending because its still continuing and its damn good at where it is now.

Gurren Laggann is NOT the best anime ever made, only the first half is. The 2nd half of the anime sucks balls.

Black Lagoon is fucking good though for what its meant to be

This. I've got all 356 episodes (as of today) and it's by far my favorite anime. The comedy and action are both great, but you'll have to wait until they get to the Grand Line before the show achieves greatness.

Unacceptable, a few episodes isn't enough. I demand you watch the series, DEMAND IT. If you don't you'll forever regret it! If you're going to be watching Jump! anime you should be watching the best one.

The comedy and action are both great, but you'll have to wait until they get to the Grand Line before the show achieves greatness.

Actually I'd say it takes off at Arlong park.
 
I don't get all the hype for Black Lagoon. I recently finished the first season and was severely underwhelmed.

It felt like a really mediocre version of Cowboy Bebop.

Also, it is the best abridged series on youtube. In fact, the only one that's halfway decent. Still, you have to overlook a lot of recycled Futurama, Family Guy, and Simpson's jokes, which irritates the shit outta me.

F*** fillers, seriously i hate it now. My freinds got me into naruto and then i quit they tried to get me into bleach i quit after episode 50 because they talk too much

and they dare tell me to get into death note

One Piece.

It comes into it's own when the base crew has been assembled (After Arlong park]. You'll have to endure the Arabasta arc a little bit (8th One Piece movie puts that arc in a more bitesize chunk), from there it goes consistantly from awesomesauce to mjadmwtjgpgdmjg.djptwawesomesauce.

Full Metal Panic
Gurren Lagann (probably the most awesome spectacle your eyes will experience)

What a contradiction. Dragonball Z had more filler than just about any anime out there, from what I recall.

Funny, nostalgic, moving, intelligent and suspenseful at the same time. An amazing anime, my personal favorite ever.

That's all Shonen anime. Filler kind of goes with the territory on those.

Others to try:
Samurai Champloo
Oruchuban Ebichu (funny stuff about a rodent and sex, not together)
Try the Movie "Paprika" A animated that came out in the last 2 years, its important.

I know lol but i grew up with it so i have to add it

Also i liked whats that movie called MINDGAMES it was pretty cool
 
If you want funny, then may I suggest School Rumble season 1 and 2, but if you want something thats newer, then Itazura na Kiss. My favourite show of this season :D

1st season is a typical action series

2nd season becomes a bit more than an action series at the end, surprised me.

Actually, for the filler to total number of episodes ratio I have to say Kare Kano gets that award. Fucking Gainax running out of money. *shakes fist*
