Do not and I repeat do not try opening your Wii (voids warranty??). Call Nintendo or something

:lol :lol :lolTabris said:Oh god, don't do that. Nintendo will have to add another screen to press A on before proceeding "Do not put your SD card in the DVD slot"

Nah...They'll just add another warning in the manual similar to "Don't feed the Pikmin".
Yep! This method I posted worked for me when my fucking drunk ex-roomie did this, so good luck to the TC.Danthrax said:CALL MACGUYVER

(Though, that was a REALLY FUCKING STUPID thing to do. :lol)
OKay Step 1 it to turn off your Wii. NOw take some card stock or anything that has the thickness and strength of business card, and hold it to make a pincher thing. It should look like an "L" if looked at sidewise. Insert, turn on Wii, and QUICKLY ROTATE COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, SQUEEZE, AND PULL OUT. Do all this while holding the console slot-side down.
Good luck!
First thing I think of when opening new electronics is always "Awesome! I get a snack too!"Tobor said:
It's Nintendo. They still honor warranties on the NES.legend166 said:Have you owned it for longer than a year? If so, you don't have a warranty anyway, so you might as well open it up and have a look.
Get a screw driver.
No! It NEEDS to be plugged so the drive thinks it is a disk and guides the card in properly. I have found that this can help wiggle the card your way too.Danthrax said:Whoa whoa whoa, step two should be unplugging it so he doesn't shock his dumbass somehow. :lol

Tobor said:OK, this is no problem. You're going to need a wire coat hanger and some bubble gum.

As for the power on or not, it worked for me only power on. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck TC.
