I did a search, but I didn't find any thread related to this.

Square Enix will publish Persona 4 in Europe next year. It'll be in english only (like most Atlus games in Europe).

L'organisme de classification allemand USK, vient d'attribuer une notation à Persona 4 sur PlayStation 2. On peut y lire que son éditeur européen sera Square-Enix et que le jeu sera en anglais. La sortie du jeu d'Atlus devrait donc avoir lieu en début d'année prochaine :

Square Enix now publish Atlus games in Europe instead of KOEI, it seems.
KOEI France was closed recently

I don't see either. Odin Sphere's PAL release was awesome (50/60 Hz switch, dual VA, translated in 5 languages IIRC...).

dont forget the better loadtimes and non-existing slowdowns

cant wait for p4,i just hope they dont anounce p4 fes for japan in the coming weeks :\

Yes Aru, I didn't missed S-E Euro release of ATLUS/Vanillaware Odin Sphere even though I'm nintendo die-hard fan and I don't even have a PlayStation 2. I just appreciate big effort in westernizing JRPG, plus I'm quite a mad man.

Will I repeat the procedure for Persona 4? Will I get a PS2?

I'm fairly sure there are no Japanese voice-overs in the US version. Buuuut you'd want to check, because I don't remember P3 having them either (at least the US version)

Square-Enix and NIS Europe are bringing it over. I saw a PAL trailer for it, but all it says at the end is "Coming Soon"

Disgaea 3 is coming out in 2009. If the "long wait" is too much for you, import it. PS3 games are region free, and D3 is//was cheap, cheaper than what I think it'll cost for us Europeans once SE releases it.

I know, but since Square-Enix announces the release in Europe i'm praying for a Spanish translation...

If after the long wait finally only comes in English i'll burn their offices.

Persona 4 is not translated, and the other Disgaea games too.
So I wouldn't count on it for D3...
Odin Sphere was an exception (it seems).

Is this true or sarcasm? sometimes I can't tell ... I did not buy this game mainly because of everything I read about slowdowns in the other releases; finally bought it this week cheap from play.com (PAL release), will get it next week

Well, the problem is that non-translated RPGs only sell well in the UK.
So many publishers don't take the risk of localizing RPGs over here.
Sometimes we have to wait a long time to finally see that most games aren't translated.
Damn, we waited almost a year in France to get Valkyrie Profile Lenneth !

Bummer. I didn't like the English voice-overs from what little I heard, so the inclusion of the Japanese voices would've been nice. Can I at least turn them off in Persona 4?

The quick little videos Atlus made for Persona 4 do not give justice to its amazing voice acting
