So, I'm trying to get my friend into anime.

She likes the Hayao Miyazaki films (Totoro;Cat Returns;etc.) because of the "cute animals".

So I recently got her into Avatar:The Last Airbender(I know... psuedo anime.) because of the "cute animals" as well. I think the magic/fantasy storyline is growing on her.

After she gets hooked on some more anime, I'm planning to spring Cowboy Bebop and other shit on her. Muhaha.

The old anime like Tenchi Muyo OVA's and Ranma 1/2 are good harem series before it got turned into the modern tripe we see today.

In my brief bout of anime a while back, Elfen Lied was definitely one of my favorites. Did they decide to make a sequel to it.

I also was a big fan of Infinity Ryuvius. Great show.

Damn, I may get back into the Anime scene. Sorry to thread derail but any suggestions. I don't speak/read japanese so I have to rely on dubs or subs with a preference of subs. I like picking up some Japanese while I watch them, albeit it not be much.
