I've been on a hip hop mood for most of this year and I'm an addict for some great instrumental hip hop shit.
I currently have:
Madlib's Beat Konducta volume 1-6
Oh No - Dr No's Oxperiment
J Dilla - Donuts
DJ Shadow - Entroducing
MF Doom's Special Herb Series

What else is good out there? Plus any good sites/blogs for news and stuff on this sub-genre of hip hop?

love premier, pete rock, buckwild, all those classic producers but I think their beats are more suited for lyrics. As a result they tend to get a bit dull when listening to them in instrumental form (for me anyway)

Listening to some of the samples at the link. Very nice and smooth stuff. I've never really listened to this kind of hip hop before, aside from Massive Attack, but they had more prominent vocals.
