* Customization: Customize your character with the huge array of options through the game's Item Store.

This game didn't have it's own official thread so I thought I would knock one up after being really impressed by this coming out of nowhere.

Its made by Gastronaught Studios, the guys who made Small Arms (& ported Peggle to XBLA) and it's a tonne of fun.

It comes down to a character based match four puzzle game, set in a cutesy land but playing playing co-op this evening I have had a blast. (reminds me a little of Bejewed mixes with Bomberman)

After trying it out and playing the tutorial I wasn't sure, I didn't quite get the game, it seemed like it was information overload and all I could see was a complicated avatar controller match puzzle game.

Then I played the demo levels a little more, they give you a second tutorial and reinforce the game. I played the first few stages and it all clicked, love it.

I also aced the first Action mode (probably my favourite mode) and it was also a tonne of fun franticly matching the blocks before the big truck hits them.

Online & co-op are bonuses too, I love the cute artstyle and at 800points its spot on tho I'm shocked they didn't include avatar support this would be the perfect puzzle game for it, even more so than keflings.

What topped it for me though was playing some online with Baka Zeitgeist, started some vs then played some Action mode co-op and got stuck on a Endless mode on one of the stages.

Really solid and fun game with plenty to it with the game modes and unlockables. I'm going to play it tonight (instead of the crack that is Fallout 3) anyone else playing?

Hit me up if anyones up for some online, really recommend giving the trial a good chance.

Played the trial, loved the feel of the game and the presentation is really nice. Action mode is really hard for some reason, I need a lot of training to get the mechanics into my muscle memory... hehehe...

It's a great game, I might buy it :)

This game either borrows or steals the gold matching sound effect from Puzzle Quest. I had to do a double take when I heard that noise, lol.

this game is really cool.

so much too it both content and gameplay wise.

also has a currency system and a bunch of hats, bodies, heads, etc you can buy for your character.

mp seems really fun, played a bunch of games with a friend last night.

Sorry, but the demo was crap.

Too confusing, and it didn't grab me like a demo should. Blazing Birds, however...

It's really simple once it clicks tho but yeah it does take a little investment first.

I ended up playing another few hours co-op again last night mainly panicing through action mode.

The puzzles are starting to get tougher now to, the game ramps up really gently (especially the endless modes which last forever till your struggling) theres a new causing a arse ache to get some par now.

I wasn't expecting much out of this, but ended up milking the demo for every stage it would give me. I'll definitely buy it next time I add some points to my account. Very unique and professional style and gameplay, and there looks to be tons of content.

I have an awful feeling this is going to be one of this year's biggest casualties of bad timing. It's kind of in a no man's land now, people are complacent with the XBLA releases they bought during Days of Arcade for the time being, and in the next few weeks they'll probably have some new games announced at E3 that will steal their attention.

Local co-op is in the full game, I don't know if they demo lets you try it though.

Co-ops only in the full game, I believe I saw an "Xbox Live Co-op" option greyed out in the demo too.

I have too agree with most people here: It's a fun game, but it's a little too hard for my taste, I won't be buying.
