The game carries on after the memorable last scene of the first Dokodemoisshou game. Toro continues to chase his dream to become a human after he left the player. One day, Kuro tells the white cat about the memory record which can grant any wish after you fill it with “gratitude”. So off Toro goes to help people. You will meet numerous people on your journey, help them solve their problems and have them thank you. Will you be able to grant Toro's wish at the end?

The game is arranged in stories. Each story has a mini-game, you clear it to proceed toward the next story. Dress Toro and Kuro up as a chick, as a soccer player or give them an afro, with 30 types of mini games, gather friends around for rounds of cuteness. All the mini games on the disc are refinements of downloadable mini-games. (Story copy/pasted from playasia.com)

Holy shit, this looks amazing!

Impressions please ^_^

Its really fun i got my copy from ebay and paid only 30 euros (including shipping from HK!) and do not regret it at all. Its the perfect family game and it has a great humor. Also its the first TORO game western players can actually enjoy :D

Does the game allow you to record yourself or did you use a capture card?

you can record yourself and then export the video to your xmb :D Same goes for taking screenshots

My gf loves cat, I just bought this on ebay :D

A couple of questions:

Is it only mini games or is there a house with items to collect like the Toro thing on the japan PSN ?
Also, what kind of multiplayer is there ? online ? local coop ?

Wow, very nice thread, Flek!

I like the game a lot and was going to platinum it, but the mini-games can be really hard to master, especially the ones that require SixAxis.

It's mini-games only. No house, no items.

As far as I know it's local co-op only, but you can check high scores on the Net (I think). Will double-check later when I get home.

The minigames should more or less be the same as all the cosplay games.

Kinda makes me regret buying so many of them >_<

i got my copy via ebay search for "toro ps3"

I tried that. :( Either there are no copies or the eBay iPhone app is being stupid again. I'll try searching the real site from home later. :)

Oh shit! I had no idea this existed!

I've been playing Mainichi Issho since launch although I don't understand a word of it. This look awesome.

Also: Excellent thread!

I don't suppose the spine text has the title in English does it?

Why have I seen a "Toro Let's Party!" logo in English if this isn't it...

Pretty much, but slightly improved with multiplayer, a story, and trophies, just like Mingol Toro.

EDIT: Did anyone see the event video SCEI held to promote Toro to Morimori on J-PSN? That is like one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed videogames wise, hell in general. :D

Is it on the PSN store or Mainichi?

Can't wait, my copy of Toro to Morimori is on its way actually. :D

My bad, it was delivered to the office today and it's already in my possession as I type this. :D

EDIT: Event video is in the PS Store, not in the Myaile Store.

Woooo common payday! I was planning to buy it to play with my fiance, but I didn't know about the text being in English. This is a must buy for me now...

Just got this today, I always thought Toro's mannerisms were funny, and now that I finally understand what they're talking about it's even better.

Anyway just to confirm - like with most other SCEI titles, all Asian country releases are multi-language localized(Korean/Chinese/English), so if you're looking to import English, any Asian version will work.

Is the Engrish "what?" or actually passable in understanding what they're trying to say?

WHAT! I just found this on playasia and GAF has a thread of it that disappeared into the sun!

I'm buying this game TODAY!

WHERES THE LOVE?!!?

I was confused that there was a thread about DDI but to see this is in english, that surprised/made me happy. I'll have to pick this up ASAP. (Saving money for my trip to Japan next month but I might just splurge on this now.)

I'm a HUGE XI[sai] series fan, and I have a bunch of random XI merchandise. When XI Go came out on PS2, they had these contests you could enter and submit codes to show your ranking. So if you ranked in the top 100, from those names they'd have a raffle and giveaway prizes. I won one of the raffles and it came to my house with a photocopied Japanese letter and then one written in English personalized to me. I was hoping for the XI Mug or one of the other cool prizes, but I ended up winning a 2003 Dokodemo Issho desktop calendar. Considering the game wasn't shipping in the US, I'm surprised they allowed me to win and wrote me a letter too!

...It's an import...

You magically expect it to be on the Uncharted 2 levels on GAF?

Made a "mistake" of telling my Chinese gf about this game. You can imagine the reaction (she's a big Toro fan, hates Hello Kitty though). Guess I'm off to order this.

Anyone knows any Rilakkuma games on PS3 btw?

obviously :/

I'm talking about the following that Toro has, you should probably check the other thread sonny.

Japanese version has more bonus content on the disc, such as the PocketStation Dokodemo Issyo app for PSP, a Mainichi Issyo PSP and other things. Which obviously SCEH could not localize.
