As an aside, it seems like Linux is relevant in this context. Take a note, developers.

Sample at slightly over 2,300 contributions:

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Linux is obtainable for free, graphics drivers are stable, desktop capabilities are top notch nowadays, the application environment is wildly diverse and appreciated, the update mechanisms beat all other operating systems and poorer countries favor it.

Bottom line, reconsider supporting OpenGL.

If you type in zero for the amount of money you get to see a developer!

Sweet. I already have World of Goo for the Wii, but I'll gladly buy the bundle to support a good cause.

I have three of those, but I will vouch that World of Goo and Aquaria are good games, and Penumbra Overture is at least decent for an older horror game. And yay charity!

Seems like Lugaru comes unlocked in this bundle. That's good, now I can finally play it properly on Mac OS X!

Feel bad for only being able to give a dollar.

And for having to use Google Checkout.

Being a poor college student trying to not have loose ends in the money/bank account world sucks. A lot.

EDIT: and Lugaru won't run. "Can't set display mode."

I assume you're talking Linux because that's what the error indicates.. You'd have to set up a display mode that matches either 4:3 or 5:4, iirc (something like 640x480 or 800x600 1024x768 or 1280x1024). If you have multiple monitors, you want to set one up where only one monitor is enabled.
SDL then chooses the matching mode.

I'd use the NVidia Display Settings tool which comes with the driver (if you're using an NVidia card, obviously). If you're flying with Ubuntu, it's in the settings menu.

You can also get chat support at http://wolfire.com/contact by the way. John is online right now, waiting for your request!

At the end of the day - 1 Dollar is better than no dollar.

I'm on Windows. Maybe the link for the Windows file is wrong.
Just contact support, they'll help you out. You can also hop on the IRC channel there, they've got a web client on the site (click that link there).

Edit: The game's worth it, so do it :)

I did and John said he didn't have any off-hand idea on how to fix it.

What's your card? Do you have the recent graphics card driver installed? What's your operating system, XP, Vista or 7? What is your desktop resolution?

Im missing aquaria so I will get them.

15$ would be enough? I don't want to be a cheapo, but I only really want Aquaria :/

Hmm, how much does Aquaria cost normally?

I've been meaning to buy it for a few years after enjoying the demo, but I've got World of Goo and don't care about the rest so I'd rather just pay an amount in proportion to Aquaria's normal price.

I think Aquaria is $19.99 normally.

The total raised is going up pretty quickly. Already at 10,000. They could end up making quite a lot for charity and for developers.

Aquaria ALONE is worth whatever you guys can pay. I paid $30 for it with no regrets.

I bought this for World of Goo. Heard Gish was pretty good too.

Vista
The horrible Mobile Intel(R) 965 express Chipset Family
1280 x 800

Changed my resolution to 1280 x 768 and it works fine.

Great idea, I hope it works out well for both the charities and the devs. I only had World of Goo already, so I was all over this.

Nice, one buck was all i had so...

Anyone playing the games on some mini atom pcs? (will it work, or should i run it on the stationary?)

Going by Intel's FAQ about the US15W, with IEGD drivers, the chipset offers support for DX9 and OpenGL 2.0. So it should basically work out! Can't really confirm though without the hardware..

How is Lugaru HD?

I tried the demo but the beginning is really bad. Does it get better after?
The story isn't something to write home about. The game does fighting pretty well though.

Hey I would like to give more. But 21 cents is all I had and I also wanted to at least have one penny to my name.
If you only have 21cents to your name and you're spending it on video games your priorities are seriously out of whack.

Support child's play, i'm in.

The last time world of goo had that any-price deal my email never came so I missed out on the game, looks like I can support it again here.
