The other screens.. not so much.. but I'm betting in action with 3d its gonna look cool as hell
 
WOW. I still am skeptical as to how long it will take for all of these games to come out. I think most of these are "tech demos"...they might not have even started working on the actual games yet...but still graphics are looking pretty good, for being just still images!

I think those pics look better than the Wii version. Truly surprised to be honest. 3DS seems to be at least GCN level.
 
I can never turn my back on this franchise, I've loved each and EVERY one. So hyped! I really need to start saving...
 
Looks meh, graphically...

Especially since there's stuff that looks as good as MGS3D or Resident Evil Revelations (best looking so far, if legit).

Still... It's Mario Kart. Sure to be pretty fun.
 
looks a bit early but so did MKDS and MKSC when they were revealed.

i'm betting this will be a 2011 end year game (MKDS took that long to come out after the DS was out)

can't wait. this will have to make up for no more F-Zero games.
 
I knew there was track in Mario Kart where you pretty much go off a huge jump. I couldn't remember which game it was actually in though. Been bugging me for years. Anyone know which game it's from?

If it's 60 fps it doesn't really matter. Barring some AA it could pass for the Wii game practically, and I love the Wii game.
 
Finally get to actually post in my threads. :lol

While it does look a little artifacty with some rough edges, it even says Mario Kart Preview. I think this will be a mid-late next year title and the graphics will be worked out by then. Even now, it looks to be Gamecube quality.
 
want this... although I must say, I feel like the series has never grabbed me quite like it did with MK64. I'd like to see a resimplified version from the overgrown, feature-laden monster that is seems to be now.
 
About the least surprising announcement ever, but more Mario Kart is definitely a good thing. I'll be interested to see it in 3D.

Easily. 30 million is a realistic goal for the sales of this game.
 
Not quite as good looking as other 3DS games but quite nice. Its like less polys then the GC Mario Kart, but there are some really nice lighting effects and decent shaders.

Weird though, it looked like there was some AA in other 3DS games but not this one. Trying to figure out if it can do AA or not now.
