IGN:
The trailer is very stylish. It shows a guy in what looks like a carnival, surrounded by crazy guys in animal masks. Codename D is the name. The trailer was mostly live action. It's coming in 2011, exclusively for Kinect and 360

I sure as hell am.
No way am I buying a 360 and Kinect (barely have time for my PS3 and Wii), but I'll certainly support Suda.
I won't support anything he does unless it appeals to me and it's in my price range.

Oh you guys...

You see, this is exactly the kind of support I want to see on Natal. I don't care about fitness and mini games, I want people like Suda experimenting with the tech.
I'm probably not gonna get Natal day one but this is something good.

I agree, it's much better than the horror show that was E3, but it's still out of my price range as far as a few games go.
Great to see Kinect stepping its game up, so to speak.

Wave arms. Bash skulls.

:lol Like he is on some pedestal or something. Every game he made was either crappy or downright mediocre.
Oh yea, well whoever your favorite designer is sucks

take that

That's not how I see it. He's arguably the most exciting Japanese developer out there right now... Guess Killer7 didn't do anything for you like it did for some of us...

Nice. With this and Steel Battalion, things are starting to look up for Kinect.

EDIT: project draco, too.

100% agree with. What Kinect needs is developers who think outside the box.

When I was at the Kinect reveal event at E3, and I'm like, oh hey, there's Suda (Goichi) right next to me... I'm like, yea, he's totally doing a Kinect game. And then when I saw him later on coming out of the MS booth the next time... I'm like, yea, totally totally doing a Kinect game.

And then today when I saw this thread, I'm like, he's totally COMPLETELY doing a Kinect game.

And then in a few months, when I open the package and put the game in, I'm all like, yea, I'm completely PLAYING a Goichi Suda Kinect game

I don't know about the 'opening something and putting it in' part:

Codename D will be released via Xbox Live Arcade for Kinect.
XBLA? Is that accurate?

9/10

XBLA may be the perfect medium for some of these Kinect titles.

Suda seems like the kind of guy who could come up with some really interesting to do with the hardware, but even then, I'm not going to spend $500 just to play his game. Still, I'll be interested to see what he comes up with.
