Black Friday deals will begin this weekend with major retailers such as Walmart, Brandsmart USA and Amazon, among others, offering early holiday deals.

It’s never too early to save or to plan your holiday budget – and early shoppers will get an early start beginning this weekend as retailers hope to capture your attention (and wallets) with deals on electronics, clothes, video games, computers and more.

Earlier this week Walmart announced “The Amazing Walmart Electronics Event,” which begins Saturday, Nov. 6 at 8 a.m. and runs through Nov. 7. Expect deals on Vizio HDTVs, Compaq laptops and Sony PlayStation 3 Move Bundles. Check out Walmart.com for early Black Friday deals.

Not to be outdone, Amazon.com quickly announced it would “be matching Walmart’s early Black Friday sale in today’s Amazon.com Gold Box. All deals will be available during a limited time window and the featured Deal of the Day will be available all day or until it sells out.”

Examples of bargains offered by the online store include the Medal of Honor for XBox 360, PS3 and PCs at $39.99 and a Compaq Presario 15.6″ CQ62-210US Laptop w/2GB Memory, 250GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 Home Premium at $279.99.

Again, those are just examples. Check out Amazon.com for more early Black Friday deals.

Expect similar discounts at BrandsMart USA, which will be offering holiday deals beginning this weekend via mail, newspaper adds, e-mail blasts and more. Like other companies, just visit BrandsmartUSA.com to sign up for deal alerts via e-mail.

I can't wait for Walmart and Amazon to duel on video games and systems, last year was the best

Amazon seriously rapes my wallet around holiday time.

I need to stop impulse buying things just because it is a good deal.

bought a 46" sony lcd 120hz online last year for 650$... can't wait to see the amazing deals this year

looking for samsung washer n dryer :|

nothing will beat the $425 52 inch LG LCD tv I got at best buy a week ago <3
love when online items get pricing errors, I'm still surprised I got it :lol

Can't wait to buy a shit load of blu rays from amazon.
cmon back to the future trilogy on sale :D

Alright, I'm not too familiar with black friday deals. Is everything going to be on sale, or just certain things? I'm looking to get me an intuos4 wacom soon. Just I'm not sure whether to wait until black friday or just it now.

Can't wait for the Amazon deals... I'll have some Game Credit after I get CoD, and some cash, so I want some hot ass deals on BF.

I already bought a lot of stuff last month thinking a friend from the US would come and bring them to me around late October.

Turns out she's coming late November. No more money.

This makes sense. Putting Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving always seemed stupid to me, since a lot of people travel for Thanksgiving and cannot easily be going to a store at 4:00 AM the following day.

Not to mention the fact that stores are already pushing Christmas shopping on the day after Halloween.

I saw Kmart running ads for pre black friday too. I don't understand how the volume can go up enough to offset loss leaders. Especially for stores like Walmart that already busy and don't have as much room for increased store traffic.

Aren't they just spreading the loss leaders over the course of weeks rather than jamming it all into one morning?

I might have to get a new tv for my bedroom. Last week my 4-5 year old Samsung LCD 720 32 incher made a loud fucking bang and blew out while i was just lying in my bed watching it. Never had that happen to me before. Wasnt even overheated or anything. I even smelled something burning after that. Thank god there wasnt a fire.

Something similar happened to mine and it seems Samsungs of a certain series had capacitor issues on their power supplies. Cost $40 to fix myself.

Maybe, but I get the sense that they're increasing loss leaders to either grow market share or just raise overall sales volume.

Since im probably gonna end up throwing it out, im probably gonna open the TV up and see if it is a capacitor issue. Hopefully the burnout didnt do other damage.

I really hope the 46-incher i bought last year isnt gonna have this issue. The model doesnt seem to be listed under a bad list so cross my fingers.

These deals aren't as good as the early morning Black Friday deals. They're more like the pre-Xmas ones.

Black Friday actually doesn't seem that great anymore except for TV's but the prices are still usually better.

The leaked Sears ad has me getting a TV stand for 50 bucks and a washer and dryer for my mother for 200 a pop. I'm hoping they'll still be there when I get there around 6:00.

This year's tv models blow hardcore, its a shame those lower lcd prices are wasted. Sure hope Panasonic can come through with kuro tech next year without the black level bugs and such.

target is going to have a 100$ netbook bf.
It's not worth it. Target is horrible on Black Friday. They get as much traffic as a Walmart but the line is insane. It took my wife over an hour just standing in line.

They did have tons of inventory though.

I wish amazon and billmelater played nice together (again).
this :lol

and yeah, they had this event yesterday. my mom works at Wal-Mart and wondered why there was a fair line of people. guess I was out of the loop :/

I'm getting a new 50+ inch TV for our living room, so I'm pretty excited for Black Friday.
Does anyone here have a Vizio? I'm just wondering how good the quality is with these TV's, I've read that at some angles the quality gets bad. I guess I just want to know whether I should consider it while shopping around. Thanks.

Will there be a 50 inch 1080p tv for $500 this year?

Must know--a lot of the prices I've seen are only a little higher than that. I'm so ready for a bigger TV.

Next year, I rebuild the speaker system, so it'd be nice to have the woofer and TV taken care of--my new Onkyo shakes the room, easily.

When I was with my Dad, we looked at a few, and the Panasonics or Samsungs are better. I got him a Panny about a year ago.

Look around, see if you can find one. I'm in the Plasma camp, so its pretty much those two makers or bust.

Thanks. I think I'm leaning towards getting LCD, but I'm definitely not counting out plasma. Can't wait for more deals to roll out.

Out of the ads up and the pre-BF deals, any recommendations for a decent TV for gaming at or below the $600 mark? Obviously I'm not talking about 3D or the biggest set ever, but out of the ones around that price point, are any of them recommended?

I'm in the same boat as you this holiday season. Looking for some recommendations myself.

I never really get into the Black Friday rush, accept for Steam around holidays. Maybe I'll keep an eye on Amazon this year.

Whats everyone think about this tv?
If all you care about is size, then it'll do.

Don't expect spectacular blacks/sound, but for your average person, you'll be happy.

amazon's prices are changing daily. the item I wanted to buy keeps on lowering every day. Does amazon price-match stuff you have all ready brought?

you like waiting out in the cold at 1 am for 6 hours?
It is a really crappy brand but damn fuck for 300 bucks is just awesome.

Westinghouse isnt that bad. I like them better than Samsung (fuck samsung's shitty customer service and product problems) and the picture of one I bought last year at Black Friday is pretty decent actually.
