I just started listening to Coast to Coast for the first time and less then 30 seconds in, Jesus being reborn as the Star Child and it relation to Egypt....hot damn this looks like it's going to be some fun. :) I guess that excerpt playing at the end of that one Tool album was the rule and not the exception in terms of what to expect.

oh I love love love love! their UFO shows and Illuminati ones as well. great radio, absolutely fantastic.

I just regret never listening to it when Art Bell was in charge, nothing against the new guy, it's just Art is responsible for all this joy!

I'm just annoyed that I missed the start time by an hour. I wanted to set it up to record so I could listen to it at work. Oh well I guess I just lose an hour to listen to.

I miss the good old days with Art Bell, George is a total quack. he doesn't ever question his guests and is completely gullible for whatever his idiot-of-the-day is trying to sell.

At least Art Bell pretended to be a skeptic sometimes but Norrie is a total moron who believes everything he is told. He literally will take any idiot with a story in his show.

No what worse is all the super conservative radio whackos I have to sit through before the show starts. Bleh!

Used to listen to this when I worked nights. Art Bell was the host then. It was such a nutty show with the best callers. Art Bell, bless his soul, believed almost every word these crackpots would say. My favorite episode was when he played the recording that was supposed to be the sounds of hell. It was completely bullshit, of course, but driving home at 2:30am, with no one on the road listening to the supposed recording from hell was a little spooky.

Eh, I live in Canada so I don't get those. I guess it's something I should be grateful for.

Pretty sure George has said he doesn't believe everything that people say, but that he does follow a policy of giving everyone a fair shake (read: indulge them).

That said, Bell often did take a harder tack towards the worst of the wackos and was more interesting to listen to.

I listen from time to time but I really only enjoy shows that focus on paranormal/xfile kind of stuff. I can't be bothered with government/war/politics. That stuff can be found elsewhere.

Coast to Coast.. lol. I used to listen almost every night. Are people still trying to find Mel's Hole?
Not sure, but they're about to have some Satanist's on, but George took the time to say that they don't support Satanism.

Man, I'm tempted to try the monthly pass. I get the classic episodes and the current ones, and I don't need to try and record it.

Right now, Jesse James faked his death! Oh god this will make work a lot more easy to get through (not that I dislike work or anything)...well unless the 9/11 whackos come on.

Looove Coast to Coast. There's not much else like it. The best thing is they give the wackos room to tell their stories and share their ideas without constantly contradicting or debating them. That's what makes the show such great theater. I know what sounds plausible and what doesn't. I don't want a debate. I want to hear crazy ass stories. They generally leave it up to the audience to make up their minds, which is so rare in media these days.

If you have an Android phone or an iOS device use the app TuneIn radio to listen to the program. The app let's you choose from different radio stations that are broadcasting the show and you can also record it with the app.

Awesome! I'll give it a try. Thanks a bunch!

Up next, talkin' bout Satan
LOL Fuck! You beat me to posting that!

George is great (I also like Ian), you guys who stopped listening after Art are being more crazy than the people who call on the show. :P

Seriously though, I really enjoy listening to the show for entertainment purposes. For 3/4 of the year, I work 3rd shift usually and I like listening to Coast to Coast when I have a slow night. Sometimes they do bring up stuff I can actually agree with, while other times it's totally off the wall but still is very interesting to hear lol.

Pretty much. Kick ass stuff to listen to when falling asleep as a kid though. Bed time on school nights was 9pm aka the time the show started. Fired up my alarm clock, turned the volume WAY down and put my ear on it, listening as long as I felt like. Such good times. I'd probably listen every night now too except for the fact that I don't like what the station plays in the mornings on the radio and I'm too lazy to redial the fm station every night before I fall asleep (still using the same alarm clock too).

edit: forgot about the kick ass bump music. I'd totally buy a cd of the coast to coast bump music heh.

Sounds like he would fit right in in the Warhammer 40K universe with all his talk of Chaos. Funny how he echoes a lot of the basics of how it works.

I was thinking of D&D myself, but that makes a lot of sense too.

Damn, why do I have to go to sleep now!

Oh man is the Gordon Freeman Half Life clip is hilarious.

It's fantastic. There was one guy named John Lear, I think, who argued that when humans die their soul is taken up to this machine on the Moon, and that every planet in our system is populated - he knew this because he saw it with his telescope. He was incredibly sincere. Then the callers came in, and ripped him to shreds. I'll try to find that YouTube link - it was gold

I've been a fan of Coast to Coast since Art Bell was the host in the 90s. I hated it when he left but George Noory isn't bad. I listen to it almost every night.

Oh man that is some goofy ass stuff. It also sounds like he's ripping off Scientology, which is just really sad.

I have to say I'm not looking forward to tonights guest. I'd love to call in and ask him what it feels like to know a child died of measles that would have never happen if the child had been vaccinatied. He would most like just say something stupid that would annoy me further.

Still if I ever call in I want to do a Deus Ex based call possibly using the role of that Versalife employee you met in Hong Kong. Deus Ex is a treasure trove of ideas for Coast to Coast calls.

I think that this is all his act. Both he and Art play it totally straight regardless how crazy the caller is.

I travel frequently in the middle of the night and listen to this while driving across the dark, flat highway in North Dakota. That makes listening to it a hundred times better.

i forgot one of my fav segments. ghost to ghost was great and people predicting the future.

It's all fun and games until someone close to you takes every word on this program as fact.

Fun show to listen to from time-to-time, though, I miss being able to listen to it while on a night shift.

I just found that clip, apparently Hell sounds like Penn Station during rush hour. LOL
Bell is great with the build up though!

Oh if you type Art Bell into the Itunes store you can find 12 of his classic podcasts for free. One is 9! hours of Ghost to Ghost. No clue who put it up there, but I'm not complaining (not that there is anything to make me thing it's illegal or such).

Its so odd tuning into C2C and hearing George Knapp guest host. i always knew him as the serious investigative journalist guy from local news :lol

LOL i think i remember listening to that. That was the supposed tape from a huge hole in the ground, right? And the guy refuses to say where this hole is or something.
