The Karmic wheel goes counter-clockwise. So the Five of Clubs owes the 5 of Hearts while the 4 of Clubs owes the 5 of Clubs. The 7 cards in the middle are fixed/semi-fixed meaning they're not part of the karmic wheel.

Anyone come across this system of divination?

I have had Robert Lee Camp's Cards of Destiny and Love Cards books, which describe the same system above in more depth, for about 4 years now. I tend to think the system is pretty spot on, especially when it comes to card connections between each other and card descriptions(profile of each card). If you have a Pluto connection(8 spots away) with someone, the pluto card is controlling, destructive and a challenge in your life. Venus connection(2 spots away) are good for love/home. And so on. I can get more in depth on this if you like.

It's intriguing the symbolism of the cards. Take for Example the Jack of Hearts. It's in the same spot of the life spread(seen above in image) and the Spiritual spread(the cards in their natural order). It is the Jupiter Column and Venus row. Jupiter being Spiritual Blessings and Venus being love. Fitting that the Jack of Hearts is then called the "Christ Card" as it also is in the spot of a crucifix. Could the whole Jesus legend just be a metaphor based on the cards? Or were the cards adapted to Christianity?

With no doubt it seems the playing cards are our calendar. 4 suits = 4 seasons. 52 cards = 52 weeks. 13 cards per a suit = 13 new moons per a year. 365/7 = 52 more or less. This is key because there are 7 planetary cycles we go through for 52 days apiece(Mercury through Neptune minus Earth). If you add up all the cards pips with Jacks being eleven, Queens 12 and Kinds 13...you get the number 364. Add the Joker at a value of 1.25 and wala...you have 365.25 our calendar year.

My birth card is the King of Spades(Jan 1). The "master" card of the spiritual and material planes. Although I tend to tune into my Planetary Ruling Card(Your Zodiac card) more...mine of which is the 5 of clubs...The "Quest for Truth" card.

Anyhow. Hearts Represent Love and Relationships. Clubs the mind and knowledge. Diamonds money and values. Spades will power and the devine. Numbers for the most part take their numerology counterparts symbolism. 3's are creative. 7's spiritual. 9 endings...and so on.

There's an easy way to find out which card someone is, as seen in one of the links at top. You double the month, add the date and subtract that number from 55. So take my birthday. 1/1 You double the month 1(2) and add the date 1 for a total of 3. 55-3 is 52. The king of spades. For the cards go in the order of Ace of Hearts 1 - King of Hearts 13...Ace of Clubs 14 - King of Clubs 26. Ace of Diamonds 27 and so on. So let's say someone was born on the 4th of July. You'd get the 7/4. Double 7(14) and add 4....is 18 subtracted from 55 is 37 the Jack of Diamonds. Pretty simple.

Anyhow...since I have the books and time to kill I can give some readings of your cards(i'm by no means an expert but pretty well read on the books I have). I can give a profile of your card(as seen in the book Love Cards) with just your birthdate. Tell me the year as well and I can look up your cards for the year and your 7-year cards for a more accurate desription of what to expect. Add someone elses birthday and I can tell you what kind of connection you have. Moon/Venus/Mars/Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus/Neptune/Pluto/Reward/Life Lesson/Karma and so on and in which direction(from whom to whom) the energy is flowing.

One more note. The cards are read from right to left starting with the 3 of hearts. They wrap around to the 7 of hearts and so on until you reach the queen of hearts in the neptune/neptune section...you then go up to the 10 of clubs and read around to the king of spades which then wraps around back to the 3 of hearts.

Awesome, thank you. I'm not the superstitious type, but I find it interesting all the same. I have been feeling restless about my "home situation," but at 21 that's not terribly unexpected. And I find it hilariously depressing in more ways than one that this is my "pinnacle year."

Congratulations you are the 7 of Spades. With a Jack of Diamonds planetary ruling card. Jack of Diamonds is the card of the salesman.

The 7 of Spades is the card of faith. Odds are you have been or will be in a car crash at some point in your life. Or you will experience life primarily through injuries of the body. Cartomancy is cool, but from what little I was able to gather from my birthday (April 13 1988), neither diamonds or eights sound very much like me.

Sort of a secondary birth card based on astrological signs. A second you of sorts. You're a Capricorn and Saturn rules that sign. So you go 5 cards away to reach the Saturn card...that's your PRC.

Do you have a bright sunny face? That's a common physical trait of 8 of Diamonds that the books says and I can corroborate through my own experiences.

Well well well. We have a King of Diamonds. The Successful business person according to the Love Cards book(there's profiles and connections in the Love Cards book and yearly readings in the Desinty book). It's also the card of "How we make enemies".

Materialistic, Ruthless, Stubborn, Tyrant, Subjective, One-Sighted(notice the king only shows one eye) are all traits of the King of Diamonds. On the positive side you know how to make money by using many of those same skills. You have a 4 of Spades PRC(Planetary Ruling Card)....which might make you look like a box...very square/rectangular. You are a hard-worker.

Well you just had your birthday. This year you displace the 3 of Hearts in the Mercury/Mercury position. You may very well have a lot of brain activity going on regarding relationships. You may find yourself in a love triangle of sorts...divided against your own thinking. Relationships are certainly coming to an end in a sense though described by your 9 of Hearts Pluto card. They may end all together or take on a new identity. The result of these relationships changing from their current form is an abundance of money(10 of Diamonds result). Preconceived notions, much? I don't buy it, personally, but that description definitely doesn't describe everyone in the world. A charismatic, philanthropic, playboy with many failed marriages and a big heart? Hell, that probably doesn't describe anyone.

Congratulations...you are a Six of Clubs. The "Missionary" Card. You better listen up cuz I'm your Saturn card(Saturn teaches us lessons). Read up a little bit on the second site but it's a little confusing. I'm financially astute, but I'm also financially irresponsible? I'm self centered, but also a philanthropist and generous? Huh?

Congratulations you are the Ace of Clubs one of the 7 special cards. There are 3 fixed cards(King of Spades, Jack of Hearts, 8 of Clubs) that don't move...ever. And then there are 4 semi-fixed cards. Ace of Clubs/2 of Hearts and the 7 of Diamonds/9 of Hearts that swap places with each other ever years. You as the Ace of Clubs will always be in the Mercury row/Venus Column or the Venus row/Neptune column...nowhere else. This gives you a fixed attitude...and since you are not one of the other 45 cards that are there own group...this makes you feel like you are from some other planet or people may think that of you. Nevertheless...you have a friend forever in the 2 of Hearts with whom you share a special bond.

As the Ace of Clubs you have a desire for knowledge. You probably have a large library of books as you are interested in new ideas. Conversely you have a very strong desire for love.
