The Humble Frozenbyte Bundle

Banned
Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!

"Allegedly"

Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)

Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.

You're right, how can we even know if he's guilty or not? HMMMM

Not when you're selling 100's of 1,000's of units on Steam for full price.

Ehh, makes sense I guess. Still, it'd be cool to see Meat Boy hit an indie bundle eventually.

Trine is the only game in that list that interests me, but even if it didn't I'd still throw a few bucks their way.

I think one of these packs had a game where you controlled crash test dummies or something like that. Anyone know the name of that game? I've always wondered how that game was. I should've picked it up =/

I've only heard of Trine, but maybe that's the point. One notable draws the eyes to the others.

Still, I will buy this since the last two humble bundles have done right by me.

hm yeah. I like frozenbyte, but this is a pretty weak line-up. of course since it's pay what you want that doesn't really matter too much. should have had trine 2 pre-order in there as well. hehe.

Only game that interests me is Trine... but as I already own it I don't need to get it again. I thought maybe one or two of the other games might interest me, but no... so sad. Well I hope for their sake that there will be a lot of people who will be interested in it.

They should have thrown in something awesome like VVVVVV or Recettear, those games haven't been exploited yet.

I already have Trine and the Shadowgrounds games, so I'll probably pass. Would it be wrong to pay $5 just to have DRM free versions?

FWIW, the Shadowgrounds games are actually pretty good. If you like Alien Swarm and such, you'll probably like them. Actually have a decent story.

I've already got Trine. I'll have to check out the others.

Trine is pretty good. It's not very difficult single player since you can hot-swap characters. The real challenge appears to be co-op, but I've never tried it.

The only one I own is Trine, and after watching that trailer for the titles I know nothing about. I don't think I'll be getting in on this one. You are trying to sell me your games, by telling me one is a throwing car sim and I can get access the source code. Follow it up with another game in Beta and that's it's adorable?

The trailer was terrible.

But if anyone is questioning the sale, Trine alone is worth a 10$ donation. It's fantastic. One of the most gorgeous platformers/adventure titles I've played this gen.

They need to work on this.
Two of the games aren't out yet. One of them isn't coming to Mac/Linux, two of the others are pretty much the same game (?) and the trailer was not very appealing at all.

Just to clarify, Jack Claw is only a prototype. It will never be released as a complete game.

"→When can I give Frozenbyte my money?
John Graham: hey there
John Graham: in about 8 hours
→Oh wow. Thanks.
→Have a nice day."

Replied in like a second. Bought so hard for the claw game.

This is, thus far, the only thing in the thread that has made me want to buy the pack.

It runs on Linux, right?

...

Dammit.

Hmmm.

Who controls The Humble Indie bundle 'brand', so to speak?

This is pitched as 'The Humble Frozenbyte Bundle' - one company putting together a bundle of their own games.

fake edit - Although I note the trailer does point you towards the 'official' humblebundle.com page...

Wolfire Games runs the Humble Indie Bundle sales.

trailer didnt make it crazy interesting - doesn't matter, HIB 1 & 2 were amazing, will buy.

as like the only dude on GAF without meat boy on steam, i too was kinda hoping it'd be here...next time, maybe.

That's a much weaker lineup than previous Humble Bundles, and I already own Trine. But the trailer was fun, and it's an idea I like to support. So maybe I'll bite.

Yeah, sadly this humble bundle is not so impressive. Was expecting the likes of Winterbottom, Super Meat Boy, Darwinia, or Zeno Clash.

Has anybody played the Shadowgrounds games? How are they?

To be fair, they don't appear to be referring to it as the "Humble Indie Bundle #3," just the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle. It sounds like this may be more of a side experiment, a spin-off, rather than the successor to the HIB legacy.

Well, it's still using the humble bundle legacy. I think I would have preferred if this was something that Frozenbyte did on their own, rather than getting Wolfire involved.

Miles better lineup than HIB#1 as far as I'm concerned. In for one, even though I own Trine already.

Pfft. The first bundle had Aquaria and World of Goo. Penumbra Overture is no slouch either. You're crazy.

I second this, VVVVVV needs a lot more exposure. Great game!

I like the idea and the good causes, so I'm going to support them on this again, even if the lineup is a little underwhelming compared to previous bundles.

Though I'm sure they're cooking up something fantastic for HIB #3.

They gave the second bundle to original bundle owners eventuarly right? Same for this one?
They gave the first bundle to people who bought the second one, and paid above the average price for it.

World of Goo is probably going to end up #1 on my most disappointing, overhyped downloadable games of the generation list (bought it on Wii first btw).

Penumbra and Aquaria are merely ok. Lugaru and Gish are fucking terrible though.

HIB#2 was pure gold though, Osmos alone makes that bundle untouchable by any future bundle.

Oh no you didn't.

Are you seriously arguing that Lugaru isn't one of the greatest games ever conceived?

The first bundle had the best Metroidvania title since Super Metroid. Therefore, it wins. Wins what? I don't know. It just does.

its never been about the games to me, its a great way to raise awareness of child's play which is an organization that really deserves more attention, as well as the EFF. I donated $5 a piece the last 2 bundles, this time I plan to at least double that

I didn't do the original one, missed out- I think I put in $7 or something last bundle, probably put in only a few dollars this time cause I don't have much to give.
