That's rather generous I think.
Played the game with a friend this weekend and I feel that it has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. :-/

Persona 3 is one of the worst games I've ever been subjected to. Unless it's been drastically improved for the PSP (ie, you don't have to spend 70 hours dungeon crawling in the world's most repetitive tower anymore), it in no way deserves a 9.

At least Child Of Eden looks like it will live up to promise.

I has; I hated the original one, too. In P3P, everything is much snappier.

Have you played Persona 4? It's paced more like that than Persona 3, but even more streamlined.

They mostly review the online sections of games in the issue after the usual review for a multitude of reasons.

Way too many 7's and 8's in there for me to take that review list very seriously. And as good as P3P is I don't think I personally would rate it higher than The Witcher 2 although they are both very, very good in very different ways.
