Alright the answer for now it seems we're JUST going to limit topics discussing

sexual advice/pornographic imagery/links to pornographic sites/advert sex discussion
endorsement of drugs/paraphanelia/etc

The rest of the strict regulations won't be considered for now as rules. Thanks for being patient guys
 
Whilst I understand this to an extent, I am wholly, and passionately against these changes. We're all adults here, or if this is a problem, up the registration age to 18+.

I don't believe you can regress people's thread posting privileges like this. It just can't work.

no. we won't be having that anymore. there's too much room for bad interpretation.

I mean obviously posting pics of a good looking girl is fine but fully clothed and such, no ass hanging out or tits covered barely

What about girl-age threads ? Are they considered sexual material ? (or lack thereof)

ok good to know. you should probably put this in the OP. i don't really post those kinda pics but there are several gaffers that do.
 
I'm 100% against censorship. GAF's rules are mainly just to help people avoid problems when at work, not out of any puritanical mindset. However, these sorts of measures have to be taken sometimes to comply with ultimatums from advertisers, as we are a free site funded entirely by advertising revenue.

Needs to be done, so is being done.
 
Thanks for the update. What about discussions of sexuality, like the coming out thread? Or basic sexual advice, like 'wear a rubber'?
 
I mean, I have real friends for OT discussion. I'm primarily here for gaming discussion, so let's just close the OT.

I believe in the first thread it was stated that relationship advice (which is the Girl-Age threads) are okay.
 
In regards drugs, the Google ToS is against all drugs, prescription, legal, and otherwise. Is that the limit, or can we recommend scripts for people who complain about conditions, discuss alcohol etc?

i wonder how badly other message boards are going to be censored though. i know many will just censor the hell out of the boards and drive away people. neogaf might have a bunch of new members.

Have you considered making a member only viewable subsection for people who likes this kind of thing. I know it's sneaky and can backfire, but it worked for me. (crawlers cant get to my walled gardens cause you need to login twice, it's set to invis for all members until I let you into a usergroup etc)/
